Featured Wedding Invitation Design: Swallows Wedding Invitation Suite by La Rue Louise (6)

This lovely invitation suite comes to us from Jessica of La Rue Louise based in St. Louis, MO! Here’s more about the invitation and the inspiration behind it from Jessica:

La Rue Louise offers both completely custom designed and ready-to-order wedding invitations, and the Swallows Invitation is part of our ready-to-order line. All of the designs in this collection have a vintage modern feel, including our Swallows suite. We were inspired by these beautiful swallows and decided to create an invitation design centered around them. They were originally hand-drawn illustrations that were discovered in an antique dictionary and then converted into digital illustrations.

Featured Wedding Invitation Design: Adore Wedding Invitation Suite by I Will Invitations (1)

Today’s featured invite comes to us all the way from Melbourne, Australia! Here’s what Gayle of I Will Invitations, has to say about this beautiful invitation suite:

The Adore Wedding Invitation was created based on the current trend of watercolour hues.  By itself it was a pretty design but we wanted to add some more definition to it, so we complimented the watercolour pattern with an intricate squares pattern background that was in the same color palette.  To complete the design, we chose Peony flower outlines to embellish the edges of the artwork and added a whimsical font to suit.

Featured Wedding Invitation Design: Lady Victoria by Enchanted Moments - Invitations & Cards (3)

Today’s lovely featured invitation comes to us from Ruth of Enchanted Moments – Invitations & Cards! Here’s what she has to say about this invitation and the inspiration behind it:

Vintage and garden style weddings have become quite the trend in the last couple years. I wanted to create a design that was inspired by those trends as well as by my own love for vintage things and Victorian style. I wanted the design to reflect the classic damask patterns often seen in that time period, but in a softer way so the flocked cardstock using white on ivory provided the perfect effect. I then reflected the vintage aspects in the fonts, layout and old paper look giving the invitation an old world appeal. Last but not least the vintage style roses brought in the Victorian Garden feel that I was going for.
