This incredibly sweet wedding video comes to us from Christopher Duggan Photography based in New York, NY! Here’s more about the wedding and the happy couple from Christopher’s videography team:

Beth and Eric were up for anything, unafraid of the rain, and so in love. They were so much fun to be around and photograph. Their wedding venue was gorgeous, with beautiful views of the Hudson River, and the fog over the river had a super cinematic feeling. The wedding day was rainy, but Beth had unique umbrellas ready, which kept them dry and added a fun element to the portraits. All the decorations were DIY and made by Beth, so everything about their wedding felt extremely personal. Beth & Eric gave a really heartfelt thank you speech after the toasts at the reception that made everyone feel truly valued. And they both looked incredible. (Not surprising – they are both personal trainers!) Capturing a wedding with both the photography and videography team for Christopher Duggan Photography is always a blast. Everyone gets along so well and works together to make magic happen. We keep an eye out for each other so that we’re not competing to frame a shot, or more importantly, that we’re not competing for time with the couple. The team still tears up every time we watch Beth & Eric’s wedding trailer. Every. Time.

This sweet and quirky wedding video comes to us from Daniel Turner of Best Men Films based in Gold Coast, Australia! Here’s Daniel to tell us more about the happy couple and their big day:

When we first met Amy & Matt, we were surprised about their affinity for gaming, and that this was going to be a theme for the event. It’s not often that you get so excited to shoot a wedding over a year before its date, but as we are gamers at heart too, this one was going to be special. A young couple with a plan to have their wedding the way they wanted it, not the uniformed nuptials we are used to seeing. Batman accessories adorned the styling of this wedding. Batman shoes, batman cufflinks, batman bouquet, batman belt, batman everything. They had their own unique take on a classic wedding that gave us free reign to get creative.

We sat down together in the edit and thought “how can we make this different to any other wedding video we’ve seen?”. To suit the theme, we came to the conclusion that a 90’s video game opener was the only solution! Creating the introduction to this video was a time consuming, but extremely fun production. First we used Photoshop to create the elements in pixelated form, then we transfered this over to After Effects to do the animations. The church is an actual image of the venue where they had their ceremony, even the characters are designed with what they were wearing on the day. It turned out to be a nostalgic start to a beautiful wedding video, thanks to an amazing young couple, deeply in love.

Congrats Amy & Matt and thank you Daniel for sharing!

This sweet wedding video comes to us from Justina and Evaldo of Just Happy Together based in London, England. I love the way this couple personalized their wedding by blending English and Chinese traditions!

Lisa and James’ beautiful wedding celebration was held in August 2014 at The Barns Hotel in Bedford, UK. They decided to go for a vintage, bohemian coziness as their wedding theme. All the decorations were carefully selected or hand made by the couple themselves. Since Lisa is Chinese, after the traditional English ceremony they had a special Chinese tea drinking ritual. During the ritual, the guests gave their presents to the newlyweds and the couple offered them tea in exchange.

Featured Wedding Video Bethany and Adam's Fairytale Wedding in Hawaii by Motion Art Cinematography

Happy Monday! Today’s wedding video is a tropical fairytale, brought to us by Geoff of Motion Art Cinematography. Here’s what Geoff has to say about this video:

The couple were married during a beautiful ceremony in front of 300 friends and family at a secluded 130-acre estate on Kauai’s north shore near the town where Bethany grew up. The entire wedding party (13 bridesmaids and eight groomsmen) including the bride and groom were all barefoot for the ceremony. The happy couple wrote and said their own vows. Bethany’s ring was white gold with a two-carat diamond while Adam’s was made from local koa wood and titanium. The slightly bohemian wedding theme suited the pairs’ love of the outdoors.

Bethany donned a white Lazaro wedding dress, while Adam kept it casual in a white short-sleeved button-down and khakis. The bride and groom’s first dance, briefly shown in this clip, was to ‘The Three of Us’ by Ben Harper.
