Rustic chic details abound in this heartwarming barn wedding brought to us by Erin Johnson Photography, based in Minneapolis, MN! Here’s Megan, the lovely bride, to tell us more:
We both knew we wanted to get married in a Barn. The question was which barn. We looked all over Minnesota and Wisconsin, visiting at least 20 different venues. Nothing really stuck out until Dan came across The Enchanted Barn. As soon as I saw the website, I have a feeling that that was the place we were going to start our lives together. We went to visit the barn and it was a done deal. The location was perfect, in between his hometown and my hometown, closer to me so it was easy to make plans, and smack dab in the middle of the country. I consider it a “tiny diamond in a hay stack”.

There are weddings where even while you’re photographing, you think to yourself “this is special”. For Chris and Melissa’s snowy Barn at Klines Mill Wedding, there were SO MANY of those special moments. From the tear-filled vows that Chris gave from the heart, to the speech Melissa’s father gave, and of course the fun of shooting in the snow. The entire day, my heart and memory cards were full.

Suzanne and Scott said “I do” during a beautiful waterside ceremony infant of the Edgartown Lighthouse, overlooking the water and the boats passing by. Everything about their day was simple, sweet and that made it so them!

I’m excited to share Katie and Colin’s gorgeous vintage backyard barn wedding! Katie and Colin have to be two of the most laid back and in love people I’ve ever met. When I met with them to talk about their wedding they just gushed about how excited they were to tie the knot. This was a day full of elegant details and romantic elements. The couple wanted it to be a relaxed wedding and they definitely achieved that.

Chantelle and Josh met on a blind date. Chantelle seems a little more outgoing and silly. Josh seems a little more quiet, until you get to know him. Josh is a hoot! He is a calming force with Chantelle; they complement each other well. They LOVE UT Vols football, hiking, backpacking, and just being together. They enjoy life. Josh asked Chantelle to marry him at Falling Water Falls in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Josh took Chantelle on a surprise hike to the top of the waterfall where he popped the question. As if anything could top that, Chantelle and Josh went on an Alaskan honeymoon.
This lavishly elegant and festive wedding comes to us from Deborah Elias of Elias Events Weddings, based in Houston, TX! Here’s Deborah to tel us more:
It was John Dascoulias who introduced the idea of the couple getting married, especially once the U.S. Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage nationwide in June 2015, but Clifford Pugh resisted. After all, they were committed to each other and no piece of paper would change that. But after Clifford was injured in a motorcycle accident, they decided it was the best thing to do to alleviate concerns like health benefits and to frankly just become legally married.
The famous Sydney Opera House is the stunning backdrop in this romantic and elegant wedding video, brought to us by Marry Me Movies (Sydney, Australia)! Here’s the Marry Me Movie team to tell us more about this gorgeous wedding:
There was a beautiful breeze blowing at The Rocks in Sydney for Helen and Joshua’s wedding. Not only did it help the bubbles blow to and fro (the ones the guests blew!), but it carried the joy from each and every person to the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and beyond. Our wedding cinematographer had a field day capturing the emotion and love between Helen and Joshua, with all of Sydney’s iconic landmarks standing proudly in the background.
Today’s real wedding, brought to us by David Corey Photography (Cleveland, OH) is a rustic vineyard wedding with romantic details and a dessert table so pretty that the bride cried tears of joy when she saw it! Here’s Mary Beth, the lovely bride, to tell us more:
Russell and I dated for two years before eventually getting engaged. The dating years were a blast. The best way I can describe it is one continuous adventure. Too many stories to tell. We both love traveling and the outdoors, so our courtship was filled with many fun trips all over the country and even abroad. We also spent an incredible amount of time with our families and friends. While we had no mutual connections prior to meeting, a mutual network quickly built around our relationship. Russell proposed to me on a beautiful July day at Gervasi Vineyard.
