Happy Memorial Day! In honor of this holiday and all the great men and women who serve their country, we are going to feature a wedding from King Street Photo Weddings! Megan and Ryan’s story is just as amazing as the photos that Michel captured on their wedding day. Get the tissues out, you’re going to need them about 1/4 of the way through…

This wedding was so special for me, as I had the privilege and honor to meet two great individuals, Megan & Ryan, I got an email from Megan asking about my services, and soon found myself speaking to Ryan, we hit it off right away when he told me that he was in the armed forces and spoke many different languages, we ended the conversation speaking French.

Today’s real wedding comes to us from WeddingPhotoLove’s Nick Strocchia Photography. I could go on and on about how gorgeous this bride is, but I’ll limit it to this: how AMAZING is her red lipstick? I wish I could have pulled that off on my wedding day– there aren’t a lot of women who can pull that off, and she is totally rocking it. Thanks for sharing this with us Nick!

Spencer and Emily planned out the perfect day that was as individual as they are. They held both their ceremony and reception at The Lookout at Lavender Farm, which served as a quaint backdrop for their family and friends. The Lookout is family owned and has a number of unique touches and a simple elegance which are signature to Austin. All the details from the food down to the music were hand picked by the couple and came together beautifully under a November Texas sky.

A BIG THANKS goes out to Spencer and Emily. I sincerely enjoyed photographing your wedding and spending the weekend with your family and friends. I look forward to seeing you guys the next time I visit Austin and wish you two all the best!

This wedding comes to us from Celeste of  WeddingInviteLove’s Impress Me Designs! Full of luxurious Tartan Plaid and details out the wazoo, Emilie Inc. Photography captured it all. Thanks so much for sharing!

We are best known for our custom invitation design and the use of unique materials and fabrics within the design.  We have quite a following for our Tartan Plaid design and this is what caught the attention of Linda Taylor Schuler (mother of the bride) and Emily Schuler (bride). As the owner of the boutique, LINDA TAYLOR Designs in Portsmouth, NH,  Linda was right at home with offering her designer’s eye for her daughter’s wedding along with the vision of Amy Piper of Signature events to pull everything together.  She sourced out the fabric and had it imported from the UK for use not only in our invitation design, but also all the linens for the reception were customized.    We tied everything in from the invitations, dance floor GOBO, ceremony programs and thank you notes to these adorable custom picnic basket favors with “mock” tartan blankets adorning the top that also served as guest seating cards.

Emily and Tyler live in New York city and they came back to Emily’s hometown to have their  wedding in Rye Beach, New Hampshire.  The reception took place at the Abenaqui Country Club.

This wedding from WeddingPhotoLove’s Ian Grant Photography is so amazing. The venue is so unique, where else can you watch a couple exchange vows in a vineyard setting then go pet a zebra? We know you’re gonna really love this wedding. Thank you Ian for sharing it with us!

Aaron and Irene are high school sweethearts whose love lead them all the way down the aisle.  From the time we met up for their South Pasadena engagement session, we couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding.  Not only are they a great looking, easy-going couple, they’re so much fun to hang out with.

We joined Aaron and Irene for their Saddlerock Ranch wedding out in the wilds of Malibu, California.  This venue is so cool – it’s quite literally a zoo!  In order to get to the location you have to drive past all sorts of cool animals like zebras and emus.  Not to mention, there are beautiful vineyards all over, which make for great photo ops!  Any venues where you feel like you’re leaving the city and heading out into the wilderness is ok in our book.

I’m in love with this Southern wedding from Evin Photography! It’s a perfect blend of elegance and glam, and it’s evident that the bride put her heart and soul into every detail. What a gorgeous day, don’t you think?

Lillie & Brandon were married at Lillie’s parent’s home in Jasper, Alabama. The elegantly, chic details that Lillie & Brandon incorporated into their wedding were breathtaking. Many wedding vendors as well as guests traveled in from Birmingham and Nashville for this stunning Alabama wedding ceremony & reception. But it was the precious family & friends that truly made this wedding special.

This wedding comes to us from WeddingPhotoLove’s OMG Photography. We shared Part 1 last week. This week, we’re onto Part 2 where all the fun happens! So without further ado here’s the rest of the wedding, and the summary from the photographer if you needed a refresh. ;)

When I was taking Bryan and Jen’s portraits after their ceremony, I told Jen that it was her job to make Bryan smile. I turned around and Bryan was BEAMING and he yelled “It’s just so easy!” That’s how these two are; they are constantly making each other smile and laugh and giggle. I had so much fun working with Bryan and Jen. Not only are they incredibly good looking, but they’re both caring and sweet and, above everything else, happy. They got married recently at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California and it was GORGEOUS. Everything from Jen’s dress, the venue, the cars that drove them to the ceremony, their first “no-look” (they each stood on one side of a corner so they couldn’t see each other, but I could still take a photo of both of them), to the incredibly fun reception (photo booths, glows ticks and dancing, oh my!), it was a completely perfect day. Thank you so much Jen and Bryan for letting me photograph your wedding!!

Thank you OMG Photography for sharing this amazing two-part wedding!

This wedding comes to us from WeddingPhotoLove’s OMG Photography. I just love their name and of course their photos! In fact, this wedding is so amazing that we’ll be breaking it up into TWO posts. That’s right, you’re going to see even more photos from this lovely wedding next week. You’re welcome. :)

Today’s wedding comes to us from Sara Law Photography, a photographer who specializes in bands. She branched out and photographed a wedding this summer for a couple of friends. Girl has got talent and we are so excited to share it with you today.

From the bride: Although currently living in Los Angeles, Josh and I are both from Kentucky. When we decided to get married, we found that home was where we wanted to make it official, so we chose a venue overlooking the Cincinnati skyline from the KY side. What a great view to share with all of our friends and family on our special day! Our site was so beautifully set up already, we decided to keep things simple and classic; rose petals, hors d’oeuvres, champagne and the like, adding a few more personal touches like my brother and his friend playing acoustic guitar for our ceremony. We couldn’t have been happier with how things went!

Today’s real wedding comes to us from Morgan Marie Photography. I love the color combination of the green and the blue, the bride took them and ran with it!

From the Bride… I’m a DIY type of person so I wanted to be very “hands-on” for my wedding. So with the help of my sister and mom, we made basically everything from the invitations to programs to the candy favor bags and even the decorations. Many of my ideas came from pictures I found on different wedding websites and blogs. The cake stand was actually made by my brother-in-law and was used in his and my sister’s wedding as well. I didn’t have a wedding planner; instead, I had a binder full of ideas, tips, tricks, and wedding vendors which I had gathered on my own or were found by my sister. I tried to make my and Nathan’s special day, as special as possible. At the end of the day, I married my best friend and nothing could have topped that.

Holy beautiful DIY wedding, Batman! I about fell over with excitement when I saw this wedding in thumbnail form on Two Bright Lights. It’s bursting at the seams with color, leaving me hungry for summer. The citrus details paired with the cute couple and a picture perfect sky – really what more can you ask for? This wedding pretty much rocked my socks off. The photographs were taken by the very talented Tiffany from Eliza J Photography, who had this to share with us about Alyson & Michael’s big day:

This was such a beautiful DIY wedding!! Both mom and dad of the bride worked the entire day to make this wedding what it was. Everything was homemade with love by family and friends and on a tight budget, it came together perfectly! Alyson, the bride, even sewed the pillows on display on the benches around the reception site. The floral arrangements were carefully prepared by close friends as well as the cake and all the decor. Evans catering company of MIssion Viejo arranged the food for the evening and it was delicious! The bride and groom even ended the evening with a surprise choreographed dance!! You can see how much fun the day must have been with these two! These bright citrus colors made for a beautiful summer wedding in the biggest orange of all, California :-)
