Jeff and Becca are all about fun, and they missed no opportunity to goof around and have a good ole time at their beautiful garden wedding at Mrs. K’s Tollhouse. With playful touches like paper flowers and a customized ceremony, this is the type of wedding that feels stamped with the personal touch of a couple in love, but without missing the classic beauty of spring nuptials.

Real Wedding: Anastasia and Ivan's Wedding in Santorini by Anna Roussos (1)

This gorgeous Mediterranean destination wedding comes to us from photographer Anna Roussos, based in Athens, Greece! Here’s what Anna has to say about the wedding:

Anastasia and Ivan got married on a nice summer morning in the middle of June. They travelled all the way from Moscow to their dream wedding island Santorini. They were surrounded by their parents and closest friends when they exchanged their vows overlooking the famous Caldera view. The ceremony and after ceremony cocktails took place on the Dana Villas Terrace, which has become the most wanted spot on the island to get married. It was very peaceful, but also very emotional, I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and felt like we were old friends with Anastasia and Ivan!

Bonnallie Brodeur - Photographe (5)

Today’s real wedding, brought to us by Bonnallie Brodeur, is eclectic, whimsical and tells a tale of ‘happily ever after’! Here’s more about the wedding from Bonnallie:

They love nature, animals, fishing, color, they are original, she is his sweetheart, he is her pirate and we love them both! When we got to the family lodge in St-Etienne de Bolton where Violaine was getting ready, we asked her to prepare her accessories (gown, jewellery, perfume and rings) in order for us to take pictures of them. In most cases, we use a bedroom to shoot these kinds of pictures so we expected her to tell us to do this inside one of the lodge bedrooms. Instead, she simply told us “Why don’t you just take everything back to the fir forest behind the lodge?”. WOW! We quickly headed back there with all the accessories, still not believing our luck!

The groom is in the military, stationed in Virginia and the bride was attending veterinary school abroad. They chose Savannah GA for their wedding before they settle into married life together in Virginia. They did not want to go the popular park or barn route but wanted a rustic outdoor setting. Wormsloe Plantation fit that bill.

Real Wedding: Marcelle and Joe's Tuscan Wedding by Divine Day Photography (10)

Real Wedding: Marcelle and Joe's Tuscan Wedding by Divine Day Photography (1)

Today’s lovely real wedding comes to us from Sandra of Divine Day Photography, based in the UK! Here’s what she has to say about the wedding:

Weddings are all about family, friends and food. Here is a wedding that became so much more than the simplicity of just that. The weather was magical, only the day after did it turn to pot. The flowers & events team who I doubted could add any more to what was already perfection, managed to take it up another notch. What the pictures will never capture was the music. All of it was imported from the UK to pull everything together. It might help that Marcelle (aka the bride) is an expert in interiors, so it was not incredibly surprising that the day felt like a brochure for best case scenario.

Real Wedding: Julie and Ben's Steampunk Wedding by James Ramsay Photography (10)

This fun, Victorian themed wedding comes to us from James Ramsay Photography, based in St Paul, Minnesota! Here’s what James has to say about the wedding:

Julia and Ben were studying abroad in Japan, when they met each other. Since then, the’ve been inseparable, building their lives in Minnesota, with Ben working as a YMCA Youth Director and Julia as a Merchandising and Promotional Specialist at the Target Corp. Designing their wedding day, they knew they’d incorporate their family histories along with their own story. They chose Steampunk inspired elements and Victorian costumes. Their color palette consisted of metallurgical elements in antique golds, coppers and aged steely greys; along with peacock colors of deep purples, plum and teal.
