Happy Friday! Caitlin of Caitlin Gerres Photography sent over this sweet garden elopement-themed styled shoot — so simple and romantic! She says:
I teamed up with Tianna of Truly Ty Photography to plan this Garden Elopement Stylized Shoot. We wanted to tell the story of a beautiful young couple whose relationship started with two cups of tea at a café in Yorktown, VA. Savannah and Erik knew they wanted to pledge their lives to each other and they knew a bed and breakfast in Yorktown would be the perfect place to do it. Simple. Intimate. Perfect.

I’m loving this beautiful inspiration shoot by Blue Dahlia Events: beautiful dark woods combined with regal golds and reds — so pretty!
For this inspiration to reality shoot we wanted to capture the regal tone of a formal affair and honor the coziness of fall and winter with a warm palette of burgundy and raspberry, with accents of gold and ivory. From the florals to the gown and the accessories, each element was chosen for its elegant and stately aesthetic. The more than 100 year old Carnegie Library made the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening. Touches of old England and vintage style were inspiration for the final look.

I’m adoring this gorgeous, ornate, and regal styled shoot by Amy June Weddings and Events. Check out that centerpiece (I am a total sucker for succulents in centerpieces!) not to mention all the other amazing details. The cupcakes are making me hungry. The model looks amazing (red lipstick, eii!)
Enjoy this beautiful style shoot!
Another inspiration post for your Tuesday — I’m loving this styled shoot sent over by White Ivory Photography! The contrast between the chandelier and other ornate elements is balanced by the beautiful mossy and earthy environment. Sandra says,
Inspiring brides with a penchant towards vintage and chic styling was the objective of this session. I wanted to bring the romance and serenity of the indoors outside by styling the scene with a vintage chaise and dreamy drapes. The scene is only enhanced by the beauty of this outdoor setting, filled with spanish moss trees all softly intertwined with each other. The bride is wearing a beautifully lace adorned, mermaid style dress coupled with a 30’s style half up-do. This styled color palette which include soft teals, peach, pinks and beige mesh’s wonderfully with nature’s canvas, creating a romantic and ethereal quality.
Elizabeth Thomas Make Up Artistry did all the beautiful make up and hair! She is based out of Bradenton, Florida. She is so fabulous to work with. Here is her business Facebook.

We’re thrilled to bring you today’s styled shoot from Locally Grown Weddings. Their entire team is so talented and wonderful to work with, we’ve been fortunate enough to meet them in person and see their work… and taste it too (Pei-Yee makes to-die-for cupcakes!). Thank so much for sharing ladies!
Madeline was the creative lead for our theme of “Modern and Bold”, drawing from the current trend of bright colors she has been seeing in the fashion and design world as well as the simple and clean aesthetics that she is always drawn to. This theme let us showcase our versatility and explore our creativity by putting together something quite different from our past weddings and photo shoots.
The theme of Modern and Bold steps away from the “traditional” wedding concept – using a black dress instead of white, and featuring a same sex couple as our models. We felt that it is important, especially at this time, to recognize that getting married is a right. As wedding ceremonies and couples are changing, so should the representation of them.

Today’s featured styled wedding comes to us from Tiny Bubbles Event Design. The pop of teal paired with tangerine work so perfectly together. I absolutely adore those teal colored heels!
This wedding styled shoot was photographed in the beautiful surroundings of the flatirons of Boulder, Colorado, at Historic Chautauqua Park. The combination of the mountains, foliage, and historic cottages made for the perfect backdrop for an outdoor shoot. The shoot was inspired by tangerine, the new “it” color of 2012, with accents of teal, and a bit of whimsy with a white vintage gumball machine, striped paper straws, and rock candy. Add a gorgeous bride with an elegant Pronovias dress, and we ended up with some incredible shots!

Today’s shoot comes to us from OMG Photography. It’s the perfect mix of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue! This shoot is sure to leave you feeling inspired.
My friend and talented graphic designer, Laura Rings and I combined creative forces to create this wedding shoot. This shoot was inspired by my grandparents’ wedding which took place 60 years ago this year… we felt it would be really fun to create a styled shoot that alluded to their wedding while also infusing modern elements.

Tiny Bubbles Wedding & Event Design shared this styled shoot with me and it was a no-brainer that it had to go up on our blog! You’ll see why as soon as you scroll down, trust me…
The inspiration for this shoot came from the photographer, Meredith Moran. Her dad restored a 1964 ruby red VW bug, and she wanted to incorporate it into a modern vintage theme that was both simple and elegant. Meredith used a lot of things that she already owned, such as vintage fabric, spray painted coffee cans, old books, and her ukulele, to express her style. We held this shoot on a lovely spring day in Evergreen, at the Barn at Evergreen Memorial Park.
