Guest posts are the WeddingLovely Blog. I’ve always maintained that the best content and best advice comes straight from the vendor who specializes in that area! Some of the posts here were written in 2011 and I’m including them here because they’re simply too good and deserve another view!
Great, great, great post for all those DIYers working with designers with printable invitations, covering how to find the best paper and what papers are available. Post by Six Modern Paper Goods.
Now that we’re all officially setting into the new year (last week didn’t count if you were like me and scrambling to get back into the scheme of things after the holidays), I’ve been taking a fond look back over how much the WeddingLovely Blog grew over the last twelve months. We’ve had some showstopping articles posted over the last year — here’s our top five articles from 2012 in terms of traffic!
Top Five Wedding Website Builders
I reviewed many, many wedding website solutions and posted my favorites. The winner? WeddingJojo.com, though I have to admit I’m partial to our (now-launched) wedding website solution at WeddingLovely.com now! ;)

2012 was an amazing year at WeddingLovely. As the founder, WeddingLovely is pretty much my child, and nothing makes me happier than seeing it grow. I’ve compiled some great stats about 2012:
I’m so excited about 2013! One of the biggest things done behind the scenes was a major update to how our directories run, so new features and new directories can launch faster! Sneak peek of new features planned for this month alone:
WeddingLovely is a one-woman project, and I plan on keeping busy—running this blog, launching new features, and helping vendors and brides/grooms. Stay tuned for more posts about the best posts on the blog in 2012 this week!
I’m so excited about 2013!
Love to all,

Part 2 of my favorite posts of the year! It was really fun to go through and see some amazing posts that I hadn’t seen in ages.
One of the first featured invitation posts that we ran, and it combined beautiful photos of Eleanor of e.m. papers’ invitations as well as a great look into the process. Love it!
One of our first super informative posts by Danielle of Six Modern Paper Goods. Great information on printing your own invitations and what paper to use!
My favorite real wedding post of the year, by Michelle Oeil. So classy!
Great advice by Anita of 2bsquared Designs, with invitation etiquette in a bite-sized format!
And finally, this gorgeous, gorgeous wedding shoot by Sabrina Nicole photography. I adore the peach details!
2012 is going to be packed with MORE amazing posts (do you think we can start posting more than once a weekday? It’s my goal!) with great advice, gorgeous photography, and beautiful eye-candy. Happy 2012 everyone!
The WeddingLovely Blog (and WeddingLovely, for that matter), haven’t been around for even a year and yet things have been simply amazing. I’m so thankful that I’m working the job I love! To wrap up the year, here are some of my most favorite posts from the year (and this is really tough, because I love them all):
I may be a bit biased since Alexandra and Craig (of Aerialist Press) printed the WeddingLovely holiday cards, but their studio/live/workspace was one of the most inspiring studios I’ve ever been in. Huge windows, soft filtered light, letterpress, and amazing art. Love it.
Sarah’s (from Hip Ink) passionate post is so inspiring. Filled with all the reasons why you should get a custom wedding invitation (rather than a drab premade one from Michael’s, shrudder), and both well-written and hilarious, it’s absolutely perfect.
Get to Know a Wedding Photographer: Ella Photography
A relatively new series, our photographer interviews have definitely shot to the top of my favorites list, especially this great interview of Isabella of Ella Photography. Beautiful images, great stories (lip-syncing grooms!), and great advice to other photographers.
Amanda from baci designer stationery + events is so sweet, and a fantastic designer to boot. I love her invitation design featured here, especially the rustic cord ties and and delicate seeded paper.
Up in Portland for a conference, I got to meet with the amazing stationery ladies of Portland over wine and appetizers and had such a wonderful time. These photos are filled with wonderful nostalgia for me, thanks again to everyone for coming out!
That’s not all (told you I had a hard time picking) — stay tuned for pt.2 of my favorite posts of the year soon!
