Today’s lovely real wedding, brought to us by Arielle Peters Photography, is full of thoughtful personal touches and gorgeous color! Here’s Arielle to tell us more:
Kelsey + Chris’ intimate backyard wedding was definitely a special one. Kelsey is studying interior design and it showed with each detail of this day. They had spray painted gold toy dinosaurs and started the ceremony with the theme song to Jurassic Park, which actually as a violin instrumental was really beautiful!
See more after the cut!
Inviting just their closes family and friends made for a very special day and a fun dance party for sure! It was just in Kelsey’s parents backyard (where she had grown up her whole life). Between the naked cake (which was AMAZING), the beautiful carnations and the little touches of personality throughout all the decor, it made for such a fun wedding to shoot!
These two are seriously perfect for each other and have such sweet personalities that compliment the other so well. Kelsey’s dress was from David’s bridal and his jacket from Penny’s which made it extra sweet that it was so unique because those two places aren’t typically known for being that.
Her carnation flowers were such a sweet touch because they were her late grandmothers favorites! She had them everywhere and even just a few weeks before the wedding got one tattooed on her arm to remember her grandma. The guys gold bow ties and polka dotted shirts made for a great touch! All together this day was so fun and so unique!
Congratulations Kelsey & Chris and thank you Arielle for sharing! For more information about Arielle Peters Photography, please visit her website.
