Meet a Wedding Photographer in Paris, France: Dagmara Bojenko Photographe (2)

Today’s wedding photographer interview is with Dagmara  of Dagmara Bojenko Photographe, based in Paris, France! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

I am a Polish Canadian Photographer based in Paris, France, since 2012. Growing up in a multicultural environment allowed me to quickly learn and adapt to new surroundings, as well as be able to read people’s expressions before even understanding their language. To this day, connecting to people in that way drives me in my work and knowing that I can lay their emotions onto a photo is the ultimate gift. I love working with people from different backgrounds and discovering their wedding traditions as well as their unique perspectives on life and love. I approach every photoshoot with a desire to create a connection between myself and my subject, which goes beyond the image itself. Photography is an experience, not just a final product. I realize how intimate it is to point your camera at someone and ask them to be themselves, so I strive to leave something of myself in my interaction with my subjects. I compare my photography to a couple’s dance, where both parties need to open up, trust and share of themselves in order to create beauty.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding! The sun shone brightly and the smiles and laughter were even brighter. We loved the colors and styling chosen. The navy and grey of the wedding party’s outfits looked naturally beautiful set against the greenery of the mountain background, and the pinks and oranges of the flowers served to compliment the navy, grey and green perfectly.

Today’s guest post comes to us from Danisa Rais. Danisa is a photo retoucher at Image Masking Service. Enjoy!

Recording or taking photographs of a wedding in itself is extremely time-consuming and a huge task. It regularly requires at least 12 or more hours of coverage during you should be innovative and practical consistently. Be that as it may, wedding photography doesn’t stop when the big day closes. The next step is culling and editing. It’s probably the part where event photographers spend most of their time and probably it is the only portion they do not like. However, these guys should be happy as there are a lot of organizations which provide wedding photography post production service. They offer different image editing services which may decrease a wedding photographer’s workload.
