This gorgeous upstate New York wedding comes to us from Cathy’s Elegant Events, based in Hudson, NY! Here’s Cathy to tell us more:
There was no a moment during the wedding day which you couldn’t see this bride and groom looking at each other with utmost love and admiration. For all the details and planning it was heartwarming to see how the day really was more about them than any of the decor.
See more after the cut!
The bride’s family owns a farm in the Northern Hudson Valley which she loves to frequent and wanted to have be a part of their wedding weekend. Olana State Historic Site: Olana is the home, studio and designed landscape of Hudson River School painter Frederic Edwin Church.
The main house at Olana, sited impressively at the top of a long slope, is a unique mixture of Victorian architectural elements and Middle-Eastern decorative motifs. It was the idealistic setting for an elegant, vintage accented wedding! The brides mother in law designed the tables capes and worked with the florist to incorporate mercury glass and whimsical flowers and greenery.
Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you Cathy for sharing! For more information about Cathy’s Elegant Events, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
