This gorgeous California coast wedding comes to us from Viera Photographics, based in Rohnert Park, California!
The couple were ironically both very stressed the morning of the wedding. Mainly because unbeknownst to the other, neither had yet written their vows. In the words of the couple about how they met: “Boy meets girl. First year at UCLA, if you’re keeping track. They exchange smiles, a few laughs over scattered birthdays, a random run-in at the shoe section of a shopping mall, and then proceed to ignore each other for the better part of four years. Reconnect through mutual friends and chance.
See more after the cut!
Start an ill-timed, casual, and wholly unintentional courtship that grows stronger than either of them could anticipate. Girl leaves the country for four months; boy for two. They don’t see each other for six. Emails are exchanged. Of birthday wishes, dreams of dances saved, and concert tickets bought a continent apart. Their connection grows despite the 7000 miles that separate them. Plans are made, to reconnect on a Friday in early June. The first moment he sees her, boy kisses girl. They’ve been together ever since.”
What Ro had to say about their day: “The first look was the most emotional part. You build this day up as “your wedding day” and the “most important day ever.” Walking out onto the river with my eyes closed, yelling over the wind at Adriana helped me realize that none of that stuff mattered; it was only the day that I get to marry my best friend. Things got WAY easier after that.”
What Adriana had to say about their day: “The last song of the night on the dance floor caught me off guard. Totally unplanned, our DJ played “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and the whole dance floor joined hands, creating a circle – singing every word. Somewhere halfway through the song, we were pushed to the middle. We ended our wedding day literally surrounded by the smiling, singing faces of the people that we love best. Maybe the best five minutes of our lives.”
