This sweet Pacific Northwest Island wedding comes to us from Tasha Vanasse of Vanasse Studios Photography based in Seattle, WA! Here’s what Tasha has to say about the lovely couple and their big day:
What do you get when you cross a gorgeous bride and groom, a fairytale island location, a BHLDN wedding dress and cultural influences from the northwest, east coast, and Jamaica? Alexis + Kevin’s wedding was quite simply perfect, and one of my favourite weddings to date. I’m thrilled to share a few photos from their picturesque day with you. The whole day unfolded beautifully on Lummi Island (in the San Juan Islands), from the girls preparing in the quiet morning hours, to a rockin’ dance party that ran late into the night. As a photographer obsessed with lovely things, I couldn’t have dreamt it better myself.
See more after the cut!
Their cake, shaped like Jamaica, travelled across country to make its big debut at the wedding. Alexis had blackberries in her bridal bouquet. Their flower girl also happened to be their beautiful daughter, who brought such light and joy to their day. The list goes on and on, but for now, here’s a sample of the wedding. I have many more images, but these will give you a taste.
Congratulations Alexis & Kevin and thank you Tasha for sharing! Are you looking for a wedding photographer for your Pacific Northwest wedding? If so, please be sure to check out Vanasse Studios Photography’s WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to her website.
