Apple Orchard Engagement Party Inspiration

Updated on Jan 29 2018 by Jessica · Leave a reply

Apple Orchard Engagement Party Inspiration (4)

This gorgeous apple themed styled shoot comes to us from wedding planner, Jena Flurer of Chancey Charm (Washington, DC). We love the rich jewel-toned color palette and the apple orchard is the perfect backdrop for a Fall engagement party! Here’s Jena to tell us more:

Fall offers a wide variety of bold and rich colors. Having the engagement party in the apple orchard offered a whimsy background. Due to the natural venue, it was important to make sure the décor did not blend in. The use of the farm table and crates complimented the natural feel the apple orchard provided. While the metallic accents, especially the use of copper and gold, added a nice pop in contrast to the apple orchard. The variety shades of reds, purples and blues made the table stand out. Good Earth Flowers provided florals that not only stood out, but also complimented the venue.

The use of “apples” were incorporated throughout. It was in the engagement party invitations, the menu, the signature drink, and the party favors. The invitations highlighted the couple “picked each other,” which was a play on the venue since typically you go to an apple orchard to pick apples. The menu offered a salad with apples, as well as, apple pie for dessert. The party favors were caramel apples with a tag saying “Appley Ever After,” which was a pun for happily ever after.

Art by Alee, the live event painter, added another level to this engagement party. The painting is one that the couple can cherish forever. The completed painting becomes a talking point at the couple’s home when guest come over, as well as, a special moment for the couple that was captured in a painting.
