This utterly delightful styled shoot comes to us from wedding planner Tamara Titsworth of Jessica Wonders, LLC, based in Saint Paul, MN! Here’s Tamara to tell us more:
It all started when the photographer came to Jessica Wonders, LLC wanting to do an Audrey Hepburn inspired photo shoot. We started brainstorming and decided to have our shoot inspired by Audrey herself rather than one of her characters or films.
See more after the cut!
I like to call it a “nod to Audrey in the 1960’s”. Words that come to mind when I think of Audrey are: simple, timeless, a feminine/masculine balance, clean lines, sophisticated, and a dash of preppy.
Our main goal with this shoot was to have masculine and feminine elements in every aspect of the design scheme. If the flowers were soft colors than the floral arrangement would be more geometric than rounded, which is why we used café dahlias. Our vases were white and pink with various patterns, so the linens would be gray, etc.
The cake was one of the first inspirations for the shoot; it embodies everything: geometric shapes, a timeless look that is a bit contemporary, masculine colors with soft floral details, and clean sophisticated lines. In the end we created a really timeless, minimalistic, and affordable design scheme that I think Audrey would have loved!
