Kristianne and JV's Sweetheart Wedding (30)

Today we’re excited to bring you this lovely wedding submitted by Simply Southern Weddings and Events by Tara! From Tara:

Oh, how sweet it is! When two dentists envisioned the wedding of their dreams, it just made sense to incorporate all the sweet confections they could imagine.  In addition to a gorgeous 3 tier cake covered in soft pink peonies, Kristianne and JV offered plenty of sweets to choose from. The blush pink-themed candy bar, decadent donut bar, crème filled cannoli bar, alma mater cake pops, Friendly’s Ice Cream Bar with all the fixings and candy-filled-tooth-shaped groom’s cake gave everyone plenty of energy to celebrate the night away.

Get to Know a Wedding Photographer in Georgetown Township, MI: Apaige Photography (3)

Today we’re delighted to bring you this interview with Paige of Apaige Photography! Don’t miss her photos, they’re simply stunning.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

I have always been a social justice type of person. In all honesty, it’s the reason I became a photographer in the first place. There has always been a huge part of me that desires to do good, or to make a difference in the lives of others, even if it means just making a simple task easier to achieve for someone. Apaige Photography is a business, yes, but also is connected to many non-profits, and social justice movements. I do all I can to connect to local businesses, raise funds for non-profits, and show the world that all people including different sizes, races, and genders are beautiful.

Get to Know a Wedding Photographer in Boston: K. Lenox Photography (1)

Today’s we’re here with an interview of Kris of K. Lenox Photography, based in Boston, MA! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

I have always been interested in stories, and where people come from and what led them to where they are today, though never in a million years did I ever expect to end up a wedding photographer.

Going back quite a few years, (almost 20 years now) when I was still in high school — I always carried one of those Kodak disposable cameras, and quite honestly, I would annoy everyone because I was always trying to “capture the moment.”

My only response was… “You’ll thank me in 20 years!”

I didn’t realize it then, but that was the beginning of my career as a Photographer. It took quite a while to find myself. I actually starting attending college for Elementary education, then switched to nursing. I was a nurse for almost 14 years when I ended up giving up my nursing license to pursue my photography career.

Get to Know a Wedding Photographer: Innerlight Photo Co. (8)

Today’s lovely interview is with Kelagn, owner and photographer at Innerlight Photo Co.!

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

I met Graham when he lead me to believe he was an avid photographer. We went on a date (I was under the impression we were going to be shooting a cool warehouse location). However, upon arrival, I realized he’d never picked up a DSLR in his life. Flash forward four years and he’s the creative brain behind our operation, far exceeding any photography skills I could ever have imagined he’d gain.

Innerlight is all about the people. We love people and their struggles, successes and the small victories in between. The greatest compliment we can receive is that we capture the “essence of one’s soul.”

Today we have an interview with Robert of Robert Michael Films, based in Santa Barbara, California! Take it away:

Tell us about your company, how did you get started?

I started filming weddings in 2002. Prior to starting my own business I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. My focus was Art History, Graphic Design, and Editing.

This really helped with having a strong foundation with the creative disciplines. I still study the masters of cinema and incorporate those lessons into the world of wedding filmmaking.
