This gorgeous outdoor boudoir shoot comes to us from Sotiris Tsakanikas, based in Athina, Greece! Here’s Sotiris to tell us more:

As a wedding photographer I’ve had my share of indoor boudoir sessions, which is certainly safe and cozy, but this time I wanted to do something different. Teaming up with an incredible crew of outstanding vendors we headed to Northern Greece and found the perfect woodland laden resort for an elegant boudoir session al fresco.

See more after the cut!

A site does make magic a little more magical especially when nature is dressed in the sweetest colors and gives a photographer and their bride ample space to shoot these beautiful intimate portraits.

Our mountain retreat -think 20 acres of wonderfully trimmed pine corseted land- was the sweetest spot. It took a silk carpet, a lovely piece of furniture, exquisite calligraphy, fine intimates, a gorgeous little posie and the most beautiful bride to bring together a shoot that is all about feminine charm and elegance.

I love to create a boudoir collection that is drenched in pillow-soft light, as it is the perfect way to depict a bride’s grace, the calm moves as she embraces her beauty and her preparations for the wedding day ahead.

Boudoir s a perfect transition to bridal portraits, as it is sweet, simple, and convenient for both the bride and her entire production team. I’m thankful for having worked aside Phaedra from Phaedra Liakou events who brought everything together with tremendous energy and ease, the ever talented Kipos Kalou who designed our florals, Betty Leka our makeup and hair artist who gave our bride a loose curl sweet look – a nod to our prairie setting- and Manousenia Design who graced our shoot with her calligraphy love letters.

Lovely, thank you for sharing! For more information about Sotiris Tsakanikas, please visit his WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to his website.
