Today’s lovely engagement shoot comes to us from Bob Mackowski  of Open Aperture Photography, based in New Bern, North Carolina! Here’s Bob to tell us more:

Daniel and Catherine’s engagement took place at historic Fort Macon, an old Civil War fort, and the adjacent beach. In addition to doing the traditional, straight-forward engagement photos in a beautiful location, they also mixed in their shared love of electronic dance music. They originally met at a concert and continue going to shows.

See more after the cut!

This was a destination engagement session. Catherine currently lives in Myrtle Beach, SC and Daniel lives in Charlotte, NC. Their wedding will be held nearby and they wanted to do their engagement nearby as well. Catherine will be moving to Charlotte after their June 2015 wedding.
Congratulations Catherine & Daniel  and thank you Bob for sharing! For more information about Open Aperture Photography, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
