This opulent in invitation suite comes to us from Sarah of Platinum Shoppette, based in Los Angeles, California! Here’s Sarah to tell us more:
Alyssa Christine, the beautiful bride to be, had requested of us an invitation to amaze her guests. In my discussions with her she listed the primary features her wedding stationery had to fulfill: An elaborate design with a few dashes of classic touches for a formal wedding, colors to include royal blue and silver.
See more after the cut!
The invitation we custom created incorporated a gorgeous silver, grey and royal blue design and utilized a whimsical typeface. We accented the invitation with her royal blue colors, using the color only to highlight important details. The royal blue color was also used in the satin ribbon placed on the invitation. The design was printed on a premium 16 PT matte card stock and layered atop of silver glitter card stock.
Their printed Reception cards included fine details of the big day and accommodation information for their guests. Both the Reception and RSVP cards were modeled after the ornate invitation design using silver and grey in the main design and royal blue to accent the particulars.
We printed the guests’ addresses in an all script typeface, on elegant crystal white European styled envelopes. The envelopes had a metallic shimmer to them, so that when in the light it had a brilliant reflection. The back flap return address was printed in a silver color with a whimsical design at the top of the flap. The RSVP envelope was printed using a similar design and coloring to resemble the outer envelope printing. The RSVP envelope was a matching crystal white metallic color and European styled. We poured over every detail, so that the invitation set would reflect Alyssa Christine and her husband to be, Jason.
The invitation itself has an immaculate ornate design, and atop the invitation an oh so beautiful jewel embellishment; when a ray of light perfectly hits the jewel it dazzles any on looker. The entire invitation set is designed, assembled and perfected to celebrate two beautiful people becoming man and wife.
