This luxurious and romantic styled shoot comes to us from Mandi Mitchell Photography, based in Roswell, Georgia! Here’s Melissa Schmidt, eMBee events to tell us more:
Our design behind this wedding photoshoot was to demonstrate how couples (and vendors) can create a sophisticated, luxury wedding aesthetic with a single-color palette. In this case, we used shades of blush, to reflect what’s blooming in Atlanta at the start of Spring.
See more after the cut!
The venue – Summerour, a very popular location with indoor and outdoor components, owned by Novare Events – had a European feel and natural, neutral backdrop that allowed us to showcase gradients of pink throughout the design – from florals to place settings, invitations to cake – against a set of dark wood, ivory, and gold.
Perhaps the most striking focal point of this design was the indoor meadow, conceptualized and beautifully executed by Alyssa Ice of Ginger Rose Florals. Alyssa, who recently brought her business from California to Georgia, was inspired by the wild meadows of both her old and new “home states,” and sourced flowers from across the country to build this truly unique backdrop. Brides, grooms, and guests alike would almost certainly fall in love with a similar installation at their weddings. Imagine holding your ceremony in front of a meadow like that!
Alyssa’s florals were complemented by unique and custom contributions from many high-end local vendors. The Sarah Seven gown was provided by Gabi Lee of The Sentimentalist; the groom’s suit was by Kate Donachy of The Modern Gent; the incredible, hand-watercolored and letterpressed invitation suite was created by Amanda Nolte of The Impressionist (Alee & Press); the gorgeous china was provided by Vanessa Gilbreath of Vintage English Teacup; hair and makeup were beautifully done by Margaret Snider; Worthmore Jewelers provided the bling; and the ombre blush cake was created by Peche Petite Bakery.
Of course, everything was captured beautifully by the incredible Mandi Mitchell Photography. Through this shoot, Mandi captured the soft look many couples are requesting right now when they want a fine-art feel to their wedding. Ultimately, the design conveyed the peaceful, contented excitement a couple feels when they’re truly in love.
Throughout the design, we kept in our hearts a couple who honors the softer elements in themselves and in their relationship: gentleness, patience, forgiveness, peace, deep loyalty, and the easy silence of soul mates.
Gorgeous work, thanks, ladies! For more information about Mandi Mitchell Photography, please visit her website.
