This enchanting and free-spirited styled shoot comes to us from husband and wife duo Rick and Jennifer Tan of Reverend Tan based in Northern California!
See more after the cut!
Our vendor team married bohemian with steampunk themes with twin sister brides and matching bridesmaids at a rustic ranch! Sophisticated, ethereal, Victorian, romantic and homespun, all in one. Utilizing the venue’s crane, grain storage tin, intimate cantina, and secret little nooks, our two brides and bridesmaids explored the ranch! A lovely horse from next door came to visit us for the day.
Some homespun elements: The flower girl’s outfit was crocheted by hand with yarn from local goats and sheep. The Alchemy Oil guest gifts were plant and essential oils blended by hand. Silk ribbons draping from the bouquets were hand dyed with plants. Desserts were displayed in the barn’s shelves. Guest book was customized with gears and keys.
Our two themes flowed beautifully through flowers that were artfully arranged to blend the romance and elegance, with a touch of vibrant, edginess. The drink bar and table setting reflected colors and motifs of boho and steampunk. Adding belts and custom-made hairpieces to the more traditional dresses featured our themes with an elegant flair. Our officiant and guitarist joined us for our inspired ceremony with just a nod to the steampunk side. Glitzed macaroons, yummy oreo-styled shots, cupcakes with fondant peacock feather, clock and gear cookies, and a steampunk cake made the most amazing dessert bar!
