The use of glitter in history goes way back to cave paintings by ancient civilizations and now body painting, cosmetics and costumes. Glitter applications are limitless.
Today, we feature a wedding invitation made solely of glitter on its outer surface. The inspiration behind this design is that of modern glitzy glam.

Today we’re happy to bring you photos of this lovely invitation design by Brown Fox Creative! A bit about the invitation:
For her destination wedding in Jamaica, Linda simply wanted a gorgeous, simple invitation that reflected the color scheme of her day — blush and gold. She decided on a gold, foil-like frame around the invitation, and a pretty calligraphy style script.

I love the use of subtle glitter on a classic invitation! Today we’re featuring an invitation suite designed by Brown Fox Creative, based in Fort Worth, Texas. A bit about the invitation:
Brittany and Tripp really wanted an invitation that was a reflection of their destination wedding in Virginia. The Homestead Resort is formal elegance at it’s best, so we pI lulled those formal, gorgeous vintage elements into the invitation itself. Brittany loved the glitter, but Tripp didn’t want to overdo it, so they settled on a glitter belly band and glitter backing for the rehearsal dinner invitation — which would only be going to a select few guests.

Whitney wanted an invitation suite that would showcase her wedding colors — pastel pink and purple, as well as incorporate her love of florals. She loved the wreath with their initials at top and lush florals in her envelope liner.

Liz wanted a suite that represented their wedding destination location — Vail, Colorado, but didn’t want it to feel rustic or masculine. Our solution was a silhouetted mountain on pale blush paper, with a gorgeous rose gold glitter backing paper to add a fancy flare. We also included a map of the resort so guests would have all the information needed to get around!

Today we’re here with this lovely invitation suite by Brown Fox Creative! A bit about the design:
The goal for this suite was to create an invitation that felt formal and feminine, but with a touch of rustic elegance. Metallic gold ink printing on the gate and invitation elevated the formalness, whereas the wood textured gate card for the invitation brought it back to the original rustic elegance we we’re going for. Our favorite touch to this suite is the circular menu for the place settings!

Today we’re featuring this beautiful bold invitation suite by Designs by Sarah LLC! Here’s Sarah with a description:
This bold letterpress invitation suite was achieved through a collaboration between bride and designer. The color palette, motif and fonts—provided by the couple—were used to drive the Spanish theme of their event. To highlight the texture of the font and motif, the complete design was printed in letterpress on a pearl cotton stock. Shimmery bright colored envelopes pulled everything together to express a refined Spring wedding mood.

This suite was created as a custom design for a spring wedding, but has become my most popular design for 2018. The combination of florals, blush, and green make it perfect for any spring or summer wedding. The fun script font gives it an extra pop of personality!

I met with Katerina and her mother for our consultation and the two couldn’t be on more opposite sides as to what the wedding invitation should look like. Katerina leaned more casual/informal, whereas her mother leaned more traditional/formal.

Amanda wanted an invitation that would wow — something different that no one else would have ever seen… especially in an invitation. We decided on a geode that included all the entire range of purples in her palette. The organic way the colors of the geode created the perfect backdrop for her invitation.
