Today’s wedding photographer is with Moritz of Moritz Schmittat Photography based in Guildford, England! Enjoy:

How did you get into wedding photography?

I got into wedding photography as a hobbyist. I shot the wedding of a good friend in Amsterdam years ago and posted them online. I must have done something right as I started to receive the first inquiries. That’s when I quit my day job to build up a commercial wedding photography business – this was the best decision of my life!

Today’s wedding photographer interview is with Katie Eaker, Owner of Katie B. Photography, based in Atlanta, GA! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

My name is Katie and I am a wedding photographer from Augusta, Georgia. Most days you can find me binge-watching classic films, exploring bookstores and antique malls, or digging through vintage clothes racks like I’m Indiana Jones searching for the Holy Grail. I’m also a Broadway obsessed novelist and travel enthusiast who’s always looking for my next adventure. Most of all, I’m a storyteller. My photography style reflects my never-ending quest for connection… it’s authentic, real and honest.

Meet a Wedding Photographer in Ilkley, England: Jenny Maden Photography (5)

Today’s wedding photographer interview is with Jenny Maden of Jenny Maden Photography, based in Ilkley, England! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

A friendly face who works to achieve very natural and relaxed photography, which ultimately ‘tells the story’ of your wedding day (including the moments that you may actually have missed yourselves).

My approach is very relaxed. At times I slink in to the background to document what is going on around me….and at other times (typically during the couples portraits) I work directly with my couples to achieve beautiful but genuine images of them together, as a married couple. I really take time to get to know my couples as its really key that they feel at ease with me and in front of the lens. I work to capture expressions and moments that are real and authentic – this is really key. As we chat and joke, I am constantly watching the light, the image composition and the angle in which I’m shooting, to ensure that the final images are polished and flattering – as well as natural.

Meet a Wedding Photographer in Stroud, England: Kayleigh Adams Photography (1)

Today’s wedding photographer interview is with Kayleigh of Kayleigh Adams Photography, based in Stroud, England! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

Hello! I’m Kayleigh Adams, a professional full-time wedding and portrait photographer based in The Cotswolds, UK. I am 24-years-old, a lover of tea, Polaroids, fresh flowers and ‘pretty things’! I grow to love what I do more and more each day and I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful job. I am a natural light photographer, and I really do appreciate the time, thought and effort that my couples put in to make their wedding day perfect. I work calmly, discreetly and professionally to ensure that the bride, groom, as well as all of their guests, are completely at ease throughout the day. I am there to capture each wedding day story as it unfolds; the emotions, the colors, the expressions and the memories. My wedding photography allows my couples to re-live their special day over and over again. For most of the day, I’m creatively documenting everything as it happens and my couples probably won’t even notice me much! When it comes to the couple portraits, I make sure that they are kept completely relaxed and there is no awkward posing involved, I’ll generally just go on a short walk with the bride and groom, and capture them interacting.

Meet a Wedding Photographer in Adelaide, Australia: Bach Photography (8)

Meet a Wedding Photographer in Adelaide, Australia: Bach Photography (1)

Today’s wedding photographer interview is with Ben Chambers of Bach Photography, based in Adelaide, Australia! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

My name is Ben, I have always been fascinated and intrigued by photography and began my photographic journey as a music photographer back in 2011. After seeing a lot of success in music photography, photographing bands such as Drowning Pool, Chelsea Grin and Make Them Suffer, I was offered to shoot a wedding for a previous music client.

Since then I have photographed weddings in England, United States of America and around Australia! My doctrine when it comes to wedding photography is that it’s important to keep. Things easy going and fun, so that the couple can make the most of their wedding day. I feel that it is also super important to spend a bit of time with your clients before their wedding to get to know them so that they can enjoy a stress-free and comfortable day!

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

I am an English (non-tea drinking) wedding photographer residing in Mexico…a place I have grown to love and I now call home since I arrived here in January 2010. I juggle my free time between travel, my beautiful girlfriend and volunteering with NGOs in less fortunate areas around Mexico and abroad. Every couple I photograph is unique, and I take the utmost pride in capturing the emotion and feeling of every wedding without being invasive, so as to ensure every image is of high quality and conveys an authentic story that can be shared for years to come.

First, thank you WeddingLovely for this opportunity! I’ve had the honor of solo-photographing over 400 weddings, events and families since I started my business in 1998.
