Meet a Wedding Photographer in Sayville, NY: Park Ave Studio (9)

Today’s interview is with New York based wedding photographer Brian Ozegovich of Park Ave Studio! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

My company’s name is Park Ave Studio. I am the owner and main photographer. I have a staff of eight people who help me with my photography and videography. I decided that in order for me to become financially successful in the industry, I had to let go some of the control and have some other people work for me. I trained them my way so I was confident that any of my clients would receive the same care and attention to detail that I would provide personally. And it seems to have been working well for almost 30 years.

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

I’ve been a photographer since picking up my first camera back in high school and spending hours in the darkroom. After high school I travelled extensively throughout Asia (with my camera of course!) and discovered a love of taking portraits which focused on the human interaction. I moved to London, UK in 2008 and became a studio photographer. I started shooting weddings as a primary photographer in 2013.

Think high-end fashion photography meets grainy magnum photojournalism! I specialize in wedding reportage and portrait photography, in Germany, and internationally. Both professionally and privately, I try to be very conscious of my impact on the environment. To that end, I recently pledged to plant a tree for every wedding booking received! In my spare time, I’m developing a dramedy TV series, set in Berlin.

My name is Nicole Baas and I’m a New England wedding photographer, based out of Boston, MA. I’ve been in business for 5 years and I do this job because I’ve always been completely amazed by the human connection. I work tirelessly to create images that capture that connection and warmth and emotion.

Today’s interview is with wedding photographer Bob Mackowski of Open Aperture Photography! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

Hi everybody!  I’m Bob Mackowski with Open Aperture Photography in New Bern, NC.  We launched our business in 2010 when I was looking to make a career change away from TV news.  I wanted to use some of the skills that I’d developed over the years while changing fields.  My wife and I were fresh off of our own wedding in 2009 and it seemed like a great fit.
Since launching the business, we’ve grown by leaps and bounds.  We now use three photographers to cover weddings and we’re becoming known throughout the wedding community for our personality and customer service, in addition to our photography (of course).  I’m a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and we’ve been featured in numerous publications, print and online, domestic and international.

Today’s wedding photographer interview is with Wes Perry of Wes Perry Photography, based in Moncton, New Brunswick! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company

I’ve always been someone with greatly varying interests. I had a B.A. in religious studies and a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology. By day, I work as a commercial fire alarm technician, doing installations, repairs and inspections, and by night and weekends I engage in music, photography and acting. It’s in photography that I found a unique place that bridges both art and technology.

I only got into photography ‘as a business’ about a year ago. Since that time I’ve watched and read every tutorial I could get my hands on, with great interest. My company is just me, my camera, and when I need a little help, my wife.
