Not a vendor? You can still help!
Not a wedding vendor, no problem! You can make a donation, or if you are a couple getting married and would like to make a donation in lieu of favors or gifts (Wish Upon a Wedding will send you 150 cards to include in your invitations!), you will be helping a great cause.
A huge heartfelt thank you to Wish Upon a Wedding — we’re excited about working together and hope that we can help you make a difference! Visit their blog to read the love stories of couples who have had their wish granted, they’re pretty inspiring!
Last year I decided to try out an experiment. WeddingLovely is dedicated to listing all the best professionals in a beautiful, online setting, so why not bring that to a print magazine?
With over 5,000 views and sales, the Fall WeddingInviteLove Lookbook was a success, and WeddingLovely grew from just listing invitation designers on WeddingInviteLove, to including wedding planners, wedding photographers, videographers, and wedding venues. We’ve grown rapidly — over 3x the amount of vendors since last fall. So of course, it’s time to do it again!
Details for the Spring Lookbook:
- We will be releasing six versions of the Lookbook — one international super Lookbook that includes all of our vendors in every category (categorized by vertical, then location), and location-specific versions that cover our top 5 areas: San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, and Washington D.C.
- Like last year, the Lookbook will be released online through Issuu (see it here) as well as print-on-demand through Magcloud (see here).
- All vendors in the WeddingLovely Network will have a listing in the Lookbook.
- Upgraded vendors will have a 1/2 page spread…
- …and (new for this version) upgraded vendors who have paid for a year’s upgraded account will have a full page spread.
- The Lookbook will also feature some of the best guest posts from the blog.
Our plans for promotion:
- Last fall’s Lookbook received about 5,000 views — and we were less than 1/3 the size we are now. WeddingLovely and our popularity and reach have grown enormously since then, so we expect way higher views for this next version. Woohoo!
- We will be advertising the Lookbook in several wedding blogs and publications.
- We will also partner with location-specific bloggers for the location-specific Lookbooks for promotions and giveaways.
- Not to mention within our own network and social media accounts.

Monday, April 9th is the last day we will be adding vendors on the WeddingLovely Network to the Spring Lookbook — if you’re not listed on our directories yet, we’d love to have you apply and you’ll be included in the Spring Lookbook!
We are also accepting advertisers for 1/4, 1/2, and full page advertisements. Email us at [email protected] for details and pricing!
The Lookbook is tentatively slated for release on May 7th. We’re so excited!
This is pretty much the best thing ever — WeddingLovely is now THREE lovely ladies! A very dear friend of mine and kick butt engineer, Julia Grace, is joining the WeddingLovely team as CTO. What does this mean? We now get to focus on all the awesome new features we’ve had planned for all of our properties (our wedding planning newsletters, our directories, and this blog!) and get them out even faster. Stay tuned for more announcements!
We’ve also redesigned the WeddingLovely website in honor of this momentous occasion…
Check out the website and poke around for a bit — tell us what you think about the redesign and give Julia a warm welcome in the comments!
Today, WeddingPlannerLove, our directory of the best wedding planners and coordinators worldwide, is teaming up with Nuptial Essentials Association of Wedding Processionals! NEAWP provides networking, resources and support for Professional Wedding Consultants. We’re constantly looking for more ways to prove our vendor’s quality, and adding NEAWP to our partnerships is a great way to show customers that we have amazing wedding planners!

“A majority of Professional Wedding Consultants are small business owners who do not have business or professional support available to them. NEAWP was founded to provide a high-quality community of professionals to offer support and share information, as well as to provide continuing education opportunities for the experienced consultant.”
If you are currently listed on one of our directories and a part of NEAWP, then you now can edit your profile and add the NEAWP badge to your profile:

Kseniya of Thomas-Printers has always been a big supporter of WeddingInviteLove (and one of our first vendors, too), and I’ve always been a fan of the organization she founded, Ladies of Letterpress (with Jessica W., the owner of Heroes & Criminals Press.)
From their website:
Ladies of Letterpress is an international trade organization for letterpress printers and print enthusiasts. Our mission is to promote the art and craft of letterpress printing and to encourage the voice and vision of women printers. We strive to maintain the cultural legacy of fine press printing while advancing it as a living, contemporary art form as well as a viable commercial printing method. Membership is open to both men and women.
This is a community where you can read about our adventures in commercial, fine press, and zine printing, ask for advice and learn from other printers, share resources, and get inspiration for your own business and work–all for the love of letterpress.
Isn’t that just fantastic?
As of today, any member of WeddingInviteLove who is also a member of Ladies of Letterpress can edit their profile and choose to list Ladies of Letterpress as an affiliation, giving them a handy-dandy badge on their profile!
Interested in joining Ladies of Letterpress? (remember, you don’t necessarily have to be a lady!) Basic membership is free, but if you want to pay (starting at $60/yr, or $25 if you’re a student), there are plenty of benefits.
Sign up for free here, or see the benefits of a paid Ladies of Letterpress account here!
Thanks again to Ladies of Letterpress for being such a great organization!
The latest in our directory roll outs is finally live! Check out WeddingVideoLove, a curated directory of wedding videographers. This one was a unique challenge, as instead of portfolio pictures, all videographers are required to have an embedded example wedding video. The videographers who launched with WeddingVideoLove have such amazing and heartfelt portfolio submissions — I’d recommend taking some time today and watching a few!
Do you know of any great wedding videographers? We’d love for them to sign up for a free account — please pass them along!
Today, WeddingInviteLove, WeddingLovely’s wedding invitation designer and studio directory, is teaming up with Envelopments, a leading provider of stationery products. Through the Envelopments Dealer/Designer network, Envelopments partners with invitation designers to help create amazing invitations and stationery, and making them look good as a business through tools, resources, and sales & marketing support. From Envelopments’ website:
“Presenting information with style and sophistication makes an entrance you can count on. It’s as dependable as putting on a string of pearls. You just know it works. That’s been our approach to the business of creating communiqués since 1995. What began in a single retail location has grown into an entire system of more than 230 cardstocks, papers, liners and envelopes and more than 90 shapes and sizes with signature names like Envelofolds®, Portable Pockets®, Pocket Folds® and more. Our products are a constantly changing collection of fresh ideas and innovative designs you can tailor to fit your event like a glove.”
I’ve heard great things from stationery studios who are a part of the Envelopments network, including this great review from Sarah of Hip Ink:
“Love them! Great quality, great service – I worked with them for almost 6 years, and it’s been a very good experience!”
We want to recognize invitation vendors who are a part of the Envelopments network, so as of today, WeddingInviteLove-listed vendors can edit their profile and under “Affiliations”, choose “Envelopments Dealer”, which’ll add a Envelopments badge to their profile.
Adding to the WeddingLovely network of wedding vendor directories, I’m happy to announce that WeddingVenueLove.com, a directory of ceremony and reception venues, is now live! We’re still in the infancy stage, so right now we’re looking for amazing venues to partner with us.
Do you know of any amazing wedding venues, from churches, to hotels, to your friend’s backyard? I would love to send them an invitation to join, just let me know in the comments!
The wonderful Utterly Engaged has posted a very lovely interview about WeddingInviteLove and the Lookbook today — and even more exciting, five lucky commentators can win a WeddingInviteLove Lookbook! Many thanks for Henny and Utterly Engaged for featuring me!
Read the interview on Utterly Engaged and enter to win a WeddingInviteLove Lookbook!
We’re testing out a new homepage design! The goal is to reduce clutter, make decision-making a bit easier, and to make it simpler to browse. We’re also exposing some of the amazing articles that appeared on the blog (thanks again to our amazing guest posters!)
What do you think? Anything we should improve? Did we introduce any bugs? Let us know!
We’ll be slowly integrating the new design to the new directories, so keep an eye out for changes on WeddingPlannerLove and WeddingPhotoLove.
(Also, congrats to Hip Ink, our first featured designer using the new design!)
