Lunar New Year Wedding Inspiration (1)

This lavish styled shoot brought to us by Wendy of Asian Fusion Weddings (Toronto, ON) is truly a feast for the eyes! Here’s Wendy to tell us more:

Chinese New Year is always celebrated with friends and family at home, and eating together is always part of the 15 day celebrations.  Although food is a very important element at these get-togethers, often times the visual and aesthetic experience for our guests may be overlooked.  For this very reason, our team wanted to showcase two very distinct looks that anyone can do at home.  These decorative ideas are really simple to execute, but they really do enhance the dining table tremendously.

Modern and Colorful Geometric Wedding Inspiration (13)

Playful colors combine with crisp lines and an industrial backdrop in this super stylish inspiration shoot brought to us by Olive Studio, based in Toronto, ON! Here’s Olive Studio to tell us more:

Our geometric inspired shoot is full of colour and pretty wedding details that are emphasized by the rough and gritty shipping containers in the background. It’s an unexpected and unusual site for a wedding photo shoot but we just love the contrast of all the beauty against the industrial background.

Moody Vintage Industrial Wedding Inspiration (22)

We’re loving the moody color palette and lush details in this vintage industrial themed styled shoot brought to us by Confetti Events, based in Kansas City, MO! Here’s Confetti Events to tell us more:

A moody industrial styled wedding featuring an abandoned elevator and vintage airstream.  Lit romantically with Edison bulbs and dozens of dripping taper candles. Rich in luxurious textures and inky jewel tones that celebrate the beauty of darkness; from bride’s chocolate diamond engagement ring, onyx china, hammered copper flatware, and oxblood velvet linens. A sharp black floral wedding cake is unexpected. The intrigue builds in this gorgeously gloomy editorial with an illusion lace bridal gown that further plays on the edge of femininity and structure.

Romantic Vintage Inspired Vow Renewal (7)

This gorgeous red and white winter vow renewal comes to us from Marianne Blackham Photography, based in Washington, DC! Here’s Marianne to tell us more:

Set in the middle of snow-covered D.C., this January vow renewal put a vintage twist on the modern architecture of the American Institute of Architects. The setting and décor were perfect for the couple that wanted a classic event with a little bit of edge. The ceremony took place outside with snow still covering the city. Bride Hayley had a classic, sparkling, white ball gown, topped off with a fancy, vintage up-do by Liz Miiller Beauty, a dainty garter from The Garter Girl, and a luxurious wedding cape to keep warm. Hayley and Luke endured the cold for a romantic ceremony, officiated by Larissa Parks and with music from the Dapper DJs, before heading inside the institute for an even more romantic reception.

Gothic Romance styled shoot inspired by the dark and moody colours of fall and with the weather changing and festivities in the air, we chose to go with maroons, deep burgundy and mix it with this season’s black and gold. It was just in time for Halloween but the blend of colours seems to fit in well with this time of the year, when everyone is in the mood to glam it up and put out the sparkle.

botanical garden wedding portrait

If you’re looking for inspiration for a vintage themed garden wedding then today’s styled shoot, brought to us by Peachy Keen Coordination (Portland, OR) is for you. We love the lush setting, romantic details and, of course, the ridiculously cute pups! Here’s more from Peachy Keen Coordination:

This amazing team of wedding professionals and I were just entering our busiest season, but my oh my we had been ITCHING to work together and as we know in the wedding world, those opportunities don’t always get to happen. So, we laughed and said “you know, let’s just go for it! Let’s take a ‘day off’ and have some fun together.” Boy did we. Inspired by my love/obsession/”omg-look-at-how-cute-my-pups-are” we coordinated (corgi-nated) a styled shoot around my four legged fur babies. The theme quickly emerged into an English Teatime with the play on words, “You are CORGIally Invited”.
