Today’s real wedding, brought to us by Ben of Style & Story Creative, is all about classic elegance and impeccable details! Here’s the lovely bride to tell us more:

I never fully appreciated the words “best day of my life” until my wedding day. Andy and I were engaged for 18 months so we definitely had some time to plan what we would consider, the perfect day. Our theme was pure, classic elegance with neutral tones of ivory, cream, and champagne coupled with just a touch of blush. We wanted our wedding to be timeliness and not something we would look back at in 25 years and think “why did we choose that”.

See more after the cut!

Our wedding venue was absolutely stunning and we were lucky enough to fully embrace it’s beauty by having our first look, wedding ceremony and pictures all done outside. I’ll never forget the feeling walking down the spiral wrapped stone staircase lined with green foliage (that seemed to last forever), towards my prince charming for our first look session.

The flood of excitement, bliss and pure relief is indescribable for that moment I got to reunite with Andy after a long day apart and just hours before we vowed our love to each other. Those feelings are one for books.

We were married on the beautiful garden lawn by Andy’s older brother Tim, who took it upon himself to include the story of Andy and I getting attacked by raccoons the day we got engaged, into our ceremony script. I guess that’s one way to keep the guests awake! With our new spouse in hand (and a drink) and the nerves calmed down, the day was well on its way and we were ready to celebrate!

My father-in-law opened our reception with an exceptional speech and advice that will stick with us forever, he said “What is so special about life, is life’s moments. They’re not always the big moments like this, but they’re that special treat, and EVERY DAY, may you have that special treat.”

Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you Ben for sharing! For more information about Style & Story Creative, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
