Today’s real wedding, brought to us by Marilyn of Rising Lotus Photography (Tampa, FL), is utterly charming and brimming with sweet rustic details! Here’s Marilyn to tell us more:
Lindsay and Jean-Paul have a storybook love. The kind that you dream about when you imagine a forever partner. Being in their presence makes your heart hurt, in the best way. It’s a yearning of sorts.Their wedding was one of the rare weddings that didn’t have a first look. And although I usually encourage first looks, I have to admit that seeing Jean-Paul’s face when he saw Lindsay coming down the aisle was pretty fantastic.
See more after the cut!
He was head over heels – simultaneously choked up and grinning. The joy was indescribable. And their pup- oh.my.goodness. Top 3 best ring bearers of all time! The couple created an incredibly special day FULL of details that made it unique. It was a visual representation of their relationship- from how they met, the activities they enjoy together and who they are as a couple, as well as their individual personalities. Everything was so carefully planned. The softball themed seating chart (Jean-Paul proposed to Lindsay on the field, with the help of their team) and the nod to Harry Potter on their wedding cake were my personal favorites!
The photo of Lindsay crying during the speak is to her Maid of Honor quoting The Notebook. “So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s going to be really hard; we’re gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me…everyday.” Um, any true romantic can feel the power in those words. I may have shed a tear myself. It was an incredible moment. I especially love how Jean-Paul leans into his new bride. He just GETS it. And THAT to me is an amazingly powerful thing for a spouse to possess.
Congratulations Lindsay & Jean-Paul and thank you Marilyn for sharing! For more information about Rising Lotus Photography, please visit their WeddingLovely vendor guide profile.
