This charming rustic wedding comes to us from Marisu and Shannah of ZoomWorks Photography, based in Athens, Georgia! Here’s  Marisu and Shannah to tell us more:

Tristan and Adam had been hanging around with the same group of friends for awhile. In fact, she had been to see him perform with his band many times.

See more after the cut!

Their decision to get married on his family’s farm was predicated on the fact that Adam really wanted his Grandparents there, and they don’t travel easily anymore. His family has farmed the land for generations, so it means a lot to them both to have been able to have such a special day there on that land.

As far as vendors, we were the only professionals that the couple hired. Relatives did the bridesmaids’ hair, as well as the bride, and ZoomWorks did the bride’s makeup. Flowers were purchased wholesale and put together by friends.

The bride’s dad, a native of Louisiana, made the most amazing gumbo from scratch and the cake was baked by a girl who does it in her spare time. All in all a truly DIY wedding.

Congratulations Tristan & Adam and thank you Marisu &  Shannah for sharing! For  more information about  ZoomWorks Photography, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
