This sophisticated styled shoot comes to us from Chastidyi Parrott of Star Noir Studio, based in Seymour, Tennessee! Here’s Chastidyi to tell us more:
Overall, this shoot was designed to feel bright, airy, and modern with an earthy eco twist and to capture the feeling of a sleeping earth that is just about to bud. Knoxville wedding florist, Lesley at LB Floral, styled this modern twist on floral and greenery which was perfectly fitting for a museum venue like the Knoxville Museum of Art.

The beautiful lighting and even the color of the building contribute to the light, fresh feel that Lesley was aiming for. Her simple floral hoops of silver dollar eucalyptus created an airy ambiance that worked beautifully as both a backdrop for the table and the ceremony setup (and the eucalyptus is a fabulous plant that is easy to grow wonderfully renewable). The simplicity of the setup gives the shoot a modern, clean look while the little touches of lavender add a hint of earthiness (and a lovely fragrance).
Custom Love Gifts and Events provided adorable potted plant favors and tiny little gold shovel place cards to add to the idea of spring and new beginnings that guests can take with them to plant so that they will remember the day for years to come. The wedding dress from White Lace and Promises added to the fresh, airy feel with its layers of sheer fabric and lace while pairing beautifully with the light grey tux from Savvi Formalwear combining with a look of simple elegance.
Continuing the modern feel with the tablescape, Lesley paired gold silverware with crisp white plates and purple chargers atop a silver lace linen creating a rich foundation of silver and adding a touch of glam. Southern Belle Beauty kept the makeup modern and elegant with a natural feel and added a soft, beautiful braided hairdo to complete a gorgeously romantic look.
The invitations provided by Design by Katie were the final piece of artistry to complete the shoot. With a soft, organic feel, they beautifully integrated into the design concept.
