This unique, industrial-chic styled shoot comes to us from Photography by Seneca, based in Montrose, PA! Here’s Seneca to tell us more:
The inspiration for this session started with the raw, yet beautifully artistic reception space at the Pumphouse Bed & Breakfast. We wanted to complement the brick walls, high ceilings, and large metal industrial-style doors of the old historic Pump House building. We also wanted tread on the other end of the spectrum by focusing on spring and going flower-crazy.
See more after the cut!
We incorporated flowers in a number of ways: We made flower infused ice-cubs for the bar station, we used old bottles with various flower arrangements each with it’s own escort tag, we chose a floral-pattern bridesmaid dress from Allure, the cake included flowers and watercolor hues, the paper details portrayed florals, and of course Fox Hill Farms nailed it with the big statement flower – King Protea – in the bridal bouquet.
What better way to contrast the old architectural features than to add gold accents? We included gold wine bottles, gold flatware, gold flower vessels for the table-scape, and gold jewelry to make it all ‘pop’. We also added candles upon candles to illuminate our industrial- floral vibe. Overall, this was an amazing vendor and model team to work with and ultimately it reflected everything we intended!
