Today’s real wedding, bought to us by Veronica of VeroLuce Photography, is a lush and elegant second wedding in the Big Easy! Here’s Veronica to tell us more:
I met Linda several years ago. She was looking to have some photos taken as she was recently separated from her husband and needed a confidence boost. We totally hit it off immediately as she is funny, and quirky.
See more after the cut!
We both were actually newly single so following each other on our journey’s has been a wonderful adventure to share together as client turned dear friend. I watched her relationship with Eddie blossom and she watched mine with my now husband.
We were so overjoyed for each other as we went from divorces to women who found love again. It’s not easy to photograph the wedding of a friend. Linda insisted I have a good time and not “work too hard.”I’m unable to do both. I wanted to be sure she had amazing documentation of her beautiful day.
My emotions were on my sleeve. I cried when they had their first look, I laughed as they walked down the streets of the French Quarter making faces at passers-by wising them well. It was an emotional experience. But it’s an honor to not only be her friend, but to have been asked to capture her special day.
Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you Veronica for sharing! For more information about VeroLuce Photography, please visit her website.
