Paper & Silk Press, consists of the design-craft duo: Grace and Crystal. Sound familiar? We’ve showed off their work before! Today we are excited to share a bright, beautiful, bilingual invitation suite. I dare you to try to say that three times fast…

Annie and Moses came to me with a special request for their invitations — they needed the invitations to be bilingual. I took the wedding colors that they had chosen, green and magenta, and created a booklet-style invitation for them.

The booklet format worked well because it gave room for the invitation text to be displayed in two languages, side by side.

In addition to the booklet, I designed a RSVP postcard insert, which allowed the couple to save on reply envelope costs.

The booklet itself was made to fit into a standard letter-sized envelope, which also made it a bit different from the typical 5×7 wedding invitation.

I’d have to say that the cover was my favorite part about making the invitation — I loved the space created and the way the typography sat so elegantly on the page.
