Creating a four color letterpress wedding invitation suite requires some serious skill and the final result, as you can see from today’s featured wedding invitation by Adventure Storeys, is a thing of beauty. Here’s more about this invitation from Adventure Storeys:
This invitation set is inspired by the art style of Charlie Harper, the American modernist artist best known for his very geometric animal prints. In order to really pull off this style, the main invitation needed to be at least 4 colors…. and for letterpress, this means 4 separate runs through the press, by hand.

I think the finished cards really showcase all that care and detail that went into them for a great wow-factor. And a cute detail of the design: The main invitation artwork originally only had two birds in the shape of a heart, but halfway through the process, the bride and groom found out they were expecting, and we were able to add a baby bird into the middle, for a truly personal twist!!!
