This lively New Orleans wedding comes to us from photographers Doug & CheyAnne Keese of Arte De Vie! Here’s Doug & CheyAnne to tell us more:
Larae & Ross were absolutely the perfect couple to have on a rainy New Orleans Saturday in June. Not once did she complain or make a fuss about the rain ruining her day, despite planning on walking to the Cathedral with her girls for some fun French Quarter photos and having a 2nd Line planned immediately after the ceremony!
See more after the cut!
For the First Look we opted to use the partially covered walkway just outside her bridal suite at the Royal Sonesta which was a bit wet in places. I checked with her first knowing that it was possible the dress could get a bit wet, dirty or both, and it didn’t bother her one bit. She wanted to see her groom and get great photos of it all, and that we did!
If you’ve ever ready the book The Secret, then you know about the power of positive thinking bringing positive things your way. I can only guess it was Larae’s positive attitude about her entire day that she didn’t get wet at all during the first look, the dress really didn’t get dirty, her 2nd Line went off without a hitch and we didn’t wet at all on a day where it rained at least 80% of the day!
Congratulations Larae & Ross and thank you Doug & CheyAnne for sharing! For more information about Arte De Vie, please visit their website.
