This lovely wedding, brought to us by Fritz Liedtke of Fritz Photo, is full of great vintage style and gorgeous details! Here’s Fritz to tell us more:
I’m not sure how many countries Scott and Joy have traveled to, or how many scorpions or snakes they’ve eaten in far-flung places, or how far they’ve biked in the far corners of the world…but it’s a lot. These Portlanders like adventure, and their wedding day was no exception.
See more after the cut!
From the boys getting ready at The Modern Man on Mississippi St, to the wedding held at Ainsworth House and Gardens in Oregon City, this wedding was itself a destination for a fun-loving crew of friends and family.
Scott and Joy love to travel (as in, they travel around the world for weeks or months each year, in spite of being a nurse and a pharmacist). They used this travel theme to decorate their wedding: from a world-map table seating chart, to the use of airport abbreviations for the table names.
The wedding was held at the rather amazing Ainsworth House. The historic building there allowed us to create some of the coolest vintage-inspired bridal party portraits ever.
From the handmade and individually unique bridesmaids ‘bouquets’, to the ceremony held beneath a massive pine tree, to the wild and crazy dance party, this is a wedding to write home about!
Congratulations Joy & Scott and thank you Fritz for sharing! For more information about Fritz Photo, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
