This dreamy styled shoot comes to us from Natalie of Swoon-Worthy Events, based in Jacksonville, Florida! Here’s Natalie to tell us about the inspiration for the shoot and the talented team that put it all together:

Inspired by a friend’s recent trip to Oregon, where flowers bloom among gleaming obsidian rocks, this styled shoot boasts original concepts. The juxtaposition of the light, floral linen draped beneath bold, geometric centerpiece arrangement is inviting. Offset by glowing tealights reflecting in their geometric glass holders, this tablescape is just gorgeous. Bold black chargers is a different take on traditional place settings for an elegant affair. Charming black rock candy is a sweet surprise arranged neatly on each plate.

See more after the cut!

A complimenting sweets table is busy with local bakery treats designed in original ways that lend themselves to the theme. Water-colored macaroons and rock candy-covered sugar cookies bring the design to your palate. Turquoise crystal plates incorporates a modern edge on traditional serving pieces. The two-tiered water-colored and black glazed cake sits atop a simple black cake stand.

Turquoise bubbly is a delightful sight arranged upon a freestanding glass and iron shelf. Craggy and colorful rocks accent the levels of flutes against a wall of bright windows. The bride wears a simple two-piece dress with a dazzlingly detailed bodice and fully flowing skirt. Natural hair styling allows the bride to weather the indoor-outdoor venue, while her jewelry gracefully speaks volumes to the theme.

The venue is charming and versatile with palatial views. Gold chandeliers suspend above a high reaching ceiling for a grande appeal. Nestled on a Florida golf course, Deercreek Country Club is built upon a 285-acre wildlife and wetlands preserve. The outdoor ceremony site is situated at an intimate angle with both waterfront and rolling greens views. Inlaid pavers makes for a pronounced center aisle leading to a natural pergola. We marked the beginning of the ceremony site with two giant water-filled glass columns containing suspended black-beaded garland beneath lush green plants and white callas.
