Today’s real wedding brought to us by Kayce Stork Photography (Biloxi, MS) is classically elegant and brimming with stylish details! Here’s Kayce to tell us more:

Every once and a while a wedding will take me by complete surprise. It’s not often that it happens, but it can happen! Rachel and Kyle’s wedding was one of those weddings!

See more after the cut!

I was photographing a few details for Rachel’s wedding day for several vendors who were working this wedding day. Things were going just as planned, I had all the photos needed and even had time to chat with Rachel and her Bridesmaids before it was time for me to slip out and let the contracted photographer come and do her job, as I was only there for detail photos!

Shortly after I left the venue, I was contacted by the couples wedding planner who had major news. Rachel and Kyle were experiencing one of the ultimate wedding day nightmares, their photographer couldn’t make it to the wedding. My heart sank for this gorgeous bride! I was then asked if I could photograph their entire wedding. I, of course, said, “Absolutely”!

The lovely ceremony was held at Beauvoir United Methodist where Rachel’s grandmother married the couple in front of their closest family and friends. This church holds special meaning for the pair. Kyle and Rachel actually met on a Sunday morning at this very church. Their families had been friends for years, but somehow, they had never met until that morning Rachel walked in and saw the handsome man sitting alone and walked over to introduce herself. After service, he ran out pretty quickly to travel back to Mississippi State where he was in college and she didn’t even catch his name.

After several weeks passed, Rachel finally worked up the nerve to ask her Grandmother what Kyle’s last name was, but sadly, he wasn’t on social media so she couldn’t find him. But, that very same night, Kyle actually found Rachel after her Grandma encouraged him to make the first move. Rachel said if it wasn’t for her Grandmother she’s not sure they would have ever even met again!

Following the heartfelt ceremony that didn’t leave a dry eye, the pair went to the lovely Slavonian Lodge to celebrate their marriage! The reception site was beautifully lite in pink with gold and ivory accents. The cake had a custom spotlight provided by Southern Event Productions and to complete the look, a halo drape to make it a centerpiece worthy of such a beautiful reception.

The first dance song was very fitting for the couple who found each other on a church pew, “I can’t help falling in love with you”. After a sparkler exit under the stars and a honeymoon in New York City, Kyle and Rachel call North Carolina their new home!

Congratulations Rachel & Kyle and thank you Kayce for sharing! For more information about Kayce Stork Photography, please visit her WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to her website.
