Friends and family flew in from all over the U. S. and Canada, Australia, and Scotland. Victoria and Nathan have friends and family all over the world. They, themselves, were global for a while too.
See more after the cut!
Most of their pre-wedding relationship was long distance since Nathan lived in Australia and Victoria lived in San Francisco. They traveled to see each other, meeting in Japan, in the U.S. and in Australia. Even with all that travel, there were lots of long months where they could only see each other via Skype.
When Nathan few from Australia to the U.S. to spend two months, it was the longest they had ever been together. As the trip came to a close, they realized that they never wanted to be apart. While they were in New York, Nathan proposed and they went out for a quiet walk with that special knowledge that only the two of them knew that they were engaged to be married and they looked forward to telling their families.
Their wedding was planned in less than ten weeks. A custom wedding gown was made, and they decided on a West Wing theme. They went down the aisle to the theme from the West Wing. Other than deciding they wanted pigs-in-blankets served at their reception just because, they “let the wedding planners do what they do best.” They enjoyed the beautiful décor styled by the wedding planners and had a great dance party.
Congratulations Victoria & Nathan and thank you, Joseph, for sharing! For more information about IQphoto Studio, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide.
