This beautifully illustrated  save the date coaster comes to us from Kristin Joiner of 622 press, based in Hamilton, Bermuda! Here’s Kristin to tell us more:

Krista and Chris are planning a wedding with a beer theme next year, so they thought save the date coasters would be the perfect clue to what guests can expect at their celebration! The bride-to-be came to me with some pretty fabulous inspiration pieces featuring hand-drawn illustrations inspired by nature. She also knew she wanted to avoid a super-fancy wedding script, opting instead for more modern typography.

See more after the cut!

Taking cues from her guidelines, I went to my sketchbook—always a treat—to sketch up some leafy laurels. After spending a little time vectorizing them, I created a number of options incorporating combinations of hand-drawn fonts. A few rounds of changes later, we had it! She had established a wedding palette of greys and pinks, so I mixed up this custom blue-grey ink and got printing!

Lovely work Kristin, thanks for sharing! For more information about 622 press, please visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile or head straight to their website.
