How did you get into wedding florals?

I saw the need of the Brides looking for more flower options, more colors, and bigger arrangements in the city of Las Vegas. Brides are looking for someone who can explain the flowers to them, give them advice, and time. That was something I wanted to deliver by make this experience more fun, beautiful, and stress free. I went into this business to help my clients and make them happy.

What is your favorite part about being a florist?

My favorite part is that I can make people’s dreams come true. In terms of flowers, I can deliver exactly what they want.

Any great stories from working with a client?

Yes many, because every client is genuine and unique in the way they do their wedding. But I remember a great couple both in their sixties, so much in love that it felt like it was the 1st time for both of them. The bride wanted light blue hydrangeas for her July home wedding, but everywhere she asked they told her they were out of season until she came to me. I was able to Special Order this one of a kind flower, and put together even more than what she asked me too just because you can feel their higher level of happiness on the air. They had been waiting on each other for 35 years and this was a powerful reason to celebrate and to give my best to this special couple. Also this wedding reminded me that Love can happen at any age, and that is a wonderful thing!

What is your favorite flower and / or style (modern, classic, natural, glam) and why?

My favorite flower is the Rose. Because it comes in all different colors, different types, shapes, and is a flexible flower to work with. It will always look good and can be use for any occasion.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned, and would pass along to other new wedding florist just getting started?

I would tell them Believe in what you what to do, and be Persistent. Have faith and don’t quit when the first problems come your way. Stay focus it’s already yours.

What are you favorite trends when it comes to wedding flowers?

My favorite trend is Radiant Flowers, where you can use any type of flowers with strong colors and incorporate them all together in one arrangement.  Is a mixture of flowers with one base color in common.

What tips or advice can you give to couples who are ordering their wedding flowers?

Know how you want your flowers to look like. Search online for different styles and be prepare when you meet your florist.
Say this is what I want, here are some sample pictures, and base on this please give me a quote. Ask how many flowers are you getting? Don’t let them sell you on just filler flowers. And finally go with the florist who gets you, and dedicates you time.
