Today’s wedding planner interview is with Vittoria of Frinaeventi, located in Cagliari, Italy! Enjoy:

Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

I founded Frinaeventi in the 2006 with one of my best friend after a long experience in the events, in Italy and worldwide, and in the wedding field. Each member of our staff has been working in the events for many years and has lived abroad for a while which make them acquire a knowledge of different cultures and languages. These experiences of life and work have done to all of us lot of flexibility and open mind.

How did you get into wedding planning?

After a long experience in the organization of international and national events, including weddings.

What’s your favorite part of the job?

Each year we meet lots of new couples coming from any part of the world. This is extremely exciting! They bring with them different expectations, dreams and ideas and this inspires us a lot! Each of them is different from the other so each wedding is a unique experience that will never be repeated. We are still in touch with most of our couples who come back to Sardinia almost every year. We like to think that a piece of their heart is now here.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned, and would pass along to other new wedding planners just getting started?

Each couple wants to be treated with special attentions as if they were the only couple to get married through us and our aim is to make them feel that special.

Any great stories from working with a client?

Could tell you hundreds of great stories but what it’s always surprising and extraordinary is how Cupid makes the people meet each other! We had couples that met on a concert, on the road, on the web, at school, on a mountain or they were friends for ages. Each story is amazing and each wedding reflects that in one way or another.

What is your current favorite color combination?

I love pastel colours, simple but extremely chic.

Are there any trends that you absolutely love or would love to see brides leave behind?

I am open to any trend which is elegant and chic. I don’t really love tulle and fuchsia.

What tips or advice can you give to couples who are in the midst of planning?

The organization of a destination wedding is always a bit more complicated and longer therefore we suggest choosing a local wedding planner who knows the place better than others and can give the most suitable suggestions in terms of locations and vendors with whom it has established very good partnerships based on trust and professionalism.
Also it is important having a very good feeling with your planner so better to choose those you feel soon more comfortable with.
