How did you get into the business?

It all started with a passion for weddings – we adore the wonderful feelings surrounding weddings!

What’s your favorite part of the job?

Creating new designs and meeting customers from all over the world – part of why we love working online is that we can work with a customer in Pennsylvania and a customer in London all in the same day!

If you could pick one unique product or service offering, which would be your favorite, and why?

That would be a tie between shot glasses and cork coasters – shot glasses are so much fun to use to toast to the bride and groom during the wedding, but the cork coasters add a very pretty and sophisticated look to any event!

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned, and would pass along to others just getting started in your field?

To always be open to new ideas – weddings are amazing in that they are a constantly fluctuating entity – what was popular this year won’t be as popular last year. It definitely keeps you on your toes to see what’s new in the industry!

What are your hobbies or non-work-related activities?

Actually, I love helping my family and friends plan their weddings – lately we have had a large number of weddings in my group, so it has kept me plenty busy when work doesn’t!

Any great stories from working with a client?

Oh my, so many that I can’t count – in general, we have truly amazing customers! One of my favorite customers was a bride who was located in Ireland but her fiancé was from Canada, so we worked to create a design that incorporated flags from both countries in a heart shape – they came out so nicely and she was such a sweetheart!

What makes you different from others in your field?

Wow – that’s a difficult question! I guess I would have to say my passion for creating something truly unique and memorable – I love the idea of making my customers something their guests will remember for years!

Are there any trends that you absolutely love or would love to see brides leave behind?

My favorite trend currently is the rustic/barn weddings, as they just have such an elegant look to them while still being so down-to-earth – there’s honestly no trend that I want left behind, as I love working with brides who have all different themes and working around their themes with them!

What tips or advice can you give to couples who are in the midst of planning their big day?

To try your best to enjoy the process – I realize that planning weddings can get very stressful sometimes, but that’s why I try so hard to make purchasing favors from our company fun and stress-free – I always do everything within my power to work quickly and efficiently so that our customers receive their designs and orders without having to wait. You’ll look back on planning your wedding for years to come and hopefully it was a fun experience!
