Every time we feature the beautiful images of Tuscany based wedding photographer Francesco Spighi, I lament that I have yet to visit Italy. Sigh. You’ll know what I mean after you see today’s real engagement. Here’s what Francesco has to say about the shoot:
Pete and Alex came in Italy from Washington DC, and before to leave the US they surfed the web, searching for Engagement Photography in Tuscany. They told me that they’ve asked to a lot of photographers, choosing me at the end for my flexibility. Good choice, guys… I was very happy about it! They’re beautiful, and totally in love. I’m always excited when I can shoot the love.
See more after the cut!
To break the Ice we spent the first minutes chatting about us, our lives, and taking some pictures in the farmhouse near Montepulciano, where they’re staying during this vacation. Then, I proposed to bring them to see the amazing landscapes of Val d’Orcia (Siena), one of the most beautiful place in Tuscany. We moved trough Pienza by car, then we walked until Vitaleta Chapel, an abandoned little church where I usually go to shoot my personal landscape photographs. The place was amazing, and the hills, the sky and a beautiful ploughed land were the enchanted frame for their love.
Great experience, happy to be there…So, enjoy looking at their love story!
