Today’s romantic engagement shoot comes to us from Farnaz of Farnaz K Studio based in New York, NY! Here’s what the lovely Shobi had to say about the shoot:
What more could we have asked for but a beautiful (albeit slightly chilly) spring day with cherry blossoms galore. We had chosen Farnaz to shoot our engagement pics and are thrilled with the results.
See more after the cut!
We couldn’t decide whether we wanted to have our pics taken in the Meatpacking District’s cobblestone streets or at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens – where we were praying that the spring cherry blossoms were in full bloom. Farnaz was gracious enough to accommodate both our choices.
We started the day at the Garden, where much to our delight, the blossoms were in full swing. Farnaz suggested we do what we’d normally do – take a walk under the cherry blossom trees – while she unobtrusively snapped away. After a few strolls up and down the length of the garden, we were off to our next destination – the Meat Packing District’s cobble stone streets. We decided to take the subway there, and much to our delight, Farnaz went right to work – snapping pictures of us in the subway. We ended up walking around the cobblestones as the afternoon sun started setting.
The end result of the multi-location shoot was both, a beautiful romantic setting and an urban industrial feel. It was great to have such diversity in our portfolio of pics and extremely hard to pick a favorite picture. We loved them all!
Congratulations Shobi & Kevin and thank you Farnaz for sharing! For more information about Farnaz K Studio, please visit her WeddingPhotoLove profile or head straight to her website.
