This gorgeous tropical wedding comes to us from Rachel Robertson Photography, based in Honolulu, Hawaii! Here is what the lovely bride has to say about the big day:
We met in high school, but didn’t begin dating until seven or eight years later. We dated for four years before getting engaged. When Adam proposed, we were living in a very cold region of China, near Adam’s brother and his brother’s girlfriend (now wife). Adam had been helping his brother choose a ring for BingBing, which was a great cover story for why he was looking at rings all the time. I didn’t suspect anything, so maybe that shows how gullible I am.
See more after the cut!
He proposed on my birthday by bringing me breakfast in bed and my birthday present: a pair of gloves. When I put the left glove on my hand, the ring slipped on my ring finger where he’d hid the ring. I still didn’t catch on until I pulled the glove off to see the ring, and looked over to see Adam on one knee by the bed.
We both wanted an outdoor wedding and a place to share with our family and friends what we love about Hawaii. We are also movie buffs and thought it was pretty cool to get married on the set of so many films. We chose to get married here because we wanted to share our adopted home and give our friends and family a chance to visit.
Just lovely! Congratulations Erica & Adam and thank you Rachel for sharing. For more about Rachel Robertson Photography, please visit her website.
