Loving today’s gorgeous real wedding set in New Zealand by Von Photography! David tells us about the day:
A couple of weekends ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Nat and Stu at The Landing in Masterton. The day dawned hot and sunny, getting up to 27 degrees by midday. The venue was a stunning garden setting with the reception held in a large open sided patio space.
Attention to detail was amazing. from the hanging flower screen…
…to the “sideshow” themed reception including a quaint drinks table, signage, table settings (cards with each person’s name on it directed the guests to their seat by following the suit and number and a photobooth complete with a table of props.
See the rest of the wedding photos after the cut!
In a demonstration of thoughtfulness and love the groom had purchased a jewelry box and presented it as a wedding gift for his bride which she used on the morning of the wedding.
As part of the ceremony, the bride and groom nailed shut a box containing private love letters they wrote to each other and a bottle of bubbly. This box was to be opened only if their relationship hit a particularly rocky patch. The agreement was to open the box, sip the bubbly and each read the letter the other had written to remind them of the love that brought them both together. A very touching moment indeed!
I put together a small slideshow of the day as well: http://video214.com/play/LtCx0On01hm9M1h8AYd11Q/s/dark
