Today’s beautiful real wedding comes from Joanna of St. Jacques Photography!

Jason & Nicole had been together for quite a long time. Many years in fact. Nicole had decidedly told family and friends that she would never get married again under any circumstance. Jason won her over with a great sense of humour and a loving and supportive relationship over time. I was so excited to finally attend and photograph their wedding this August 25th 2012 at an outdoor ceremony that took place in Bolton, Ontario at a family home.

The sun was warm and humid but the breeze swept through and combined with shade from 2 large trees everyone was comfortable and happy. Jason and Nicole like to keep things on the lighter side. Having dealt with serious health issues and stressful life events finding the light side of everything seems to be the key for them.

As a photographer you think you know a couple after meeting with them and shooting them but until attending their wedding I really had no idea the strength and love this couple truly have. It seems together they can get through anything. It so great when someone or a relationship can inspire you and I can truly say that they have.

I wish them all the best marriage has to offer and a happy and wonderful life. Thank you for inspiring me and I’m sure many others! I just love their humour. You will definitely see it in some of their ‘not so formal formals’ as I like to call them.
