As a bit of a bibliophile myself, I’m very pleased to share this real wedding with you. The theme and the venue are off-beat, yet elegant and sophisticated. Here’s what photographer Shelly Choo of Coshi Productions has to say about the wedding:
I wanted to share the lovely book-themed wedding of Vickie and Pat located at the George Peabody Library in Maryland. These two met during college, and have hit it off since then.
See more after the cut!
Their love for each other and for books grew so much that they decided to hold their wedding at a beautiful historical library. In order to incorporate their theme of books and libraries, they consulted Say Hello Designs to make their Save the Dates which was a card that used to be placed in books when you borrowed them.
Important dates, such as when they met in college (’05) and when they met each others’ parents were stamped onto the Save the Dates. Nadia from Say Hello Designs also created their invitations using the color purple.
She also created the escort cards which included the guest’s name as well as a picture of the book where the guest would be sitting. For me, it was visit back to elementary school and the Dewey Decimal System!
Congratulations Vickie & Pat and thank you to Coshi Productions for sharing! For more about Coshi Productions, visit their WeddingLovely Vendor Guide Profile or head straight to their website.
