Romantic details abound in today’s gorgeous real wedding, brought to us by Phosart Photography & Cinematography, based in Oia, Greece! Here’s Martha, the lovely bride, to tell us more
George and I have been family friends for a few years now, but we would see each other in Limnos Greece too, and in the summer of 2014 in Limnos our relationship started. The proposal was that same year, in Sydney, Australia at one of our Northern beaches, Dee Why.
See more after the cut!
It was very effortless. We wanted something different from the usual and significant to both of us. My parents and my mum’s parents got married in the same church. The best moment was when we returned from our photos, and entered the village platea (square) for the first time as husband and wife greeting all of our guests.
The style of our wedding was traditional of course, with a little modern touches.
With my gown. I knew I wanted a Steven Khalil gown, I have never in my life tried on any other wedding dress. From the first meeting, he sketched a design according to my thoughts, and I loved it! French lace, beading, elegant trumpet finish with a long train flowing from a sheer beaded back.
Advice to a bride to be: Enjoy every moment, take moments throughout the day to stop and think about the moment as it goes by very fast. George and his team were amazing. Very professional and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout the photo shoot and the wedding day. We have made lovely new friends
