Today’s real wedding, brought to us by Logan Walker Photography (Salt Lake City, UT) is the perfect intimate, rustic celebration with amazing views and sweet DIY details! Here’s Logan to tell us more:

I was going for a soft, classical look. I loved the lace of my dress and the low back. My MIL made my veil. I only decided a few days before the wedding that I would even wear one.

See more after the cut!

We both love wood and wood accents so that was a major theme with our winter forest/mountain wedding. I also love purple and soft pinks and greens so I tried to incorporate that but wasn’t really into making things match specifically.

We wanted the beauty of the scenery to really speak for itself so we did very little as far as decorations besides the table arrangements. We actually tried to make our own wood slices for the tables, but it went horribly wrong haha! We ended up buying those, because I liked the rustic feel.

I loved the sleigh ride back to the ski gondola at the end of the night with all of our guests, I cried when my husband got teary during our ceremony and I laughed  when I had to take my slip off after the first course of dinner because it was so tight I couldn’t eat!

Congratulations to the happy couple and thank you, Logan, for sharing! For more information about Logan Walker Photography, please visit her WeddingLovely Vendor Guide profile.
