Today we’re thrilled to bring you this gorgeous rustic wedding submitted by Natasha Shapiro Photography! About the wedding:
Chelsea and Nick’s Adirondack Lake Wedding was an absolute stunningly beautiful DIY day. The wedding took place at Chelsea’s family lodge deep in the Adirondack wilderness right on a small lake. Guests arrived from all over the North East but had to be picked up by boat and then driven down a 6 miles of dirt road to reach the venue, and every single item (florals, tent rental, food) has to be scheduled to arrive via boat!
See the rest of the photos and more about the wedding after the cut!
Because of the secluded location, this was a real all hands on deck event. The bride’s maids put together all of the floral pieces the day before, Chelsea’s mom made their wedding cake, the groomsmen scavenged for materials for the arbor in the woods, and friends and family each made a dish for a potluck dinner! Really going for a woodsy Adirondack vibe Chelsea and Nick had a custom wooden mountain themed ring box made, with beautiful inlays, Chelsea’s delicate dress was complimented by the softly swaying pines, tables were adorned with antique gas lanterns, and the handmade floral centerpieces added just enough rustic touch. Just as the sun set we headed over to the lake to spend the last moments of the evening skipping rocks across the water, and danced through the night.
